Good afternoon,I feel fully violated upon my daughter having a repair at your Newton, NC location and will NEVER go or recommend them ever. They are fully unethical and took advantage of her.She had to have her front stabilizer links replaced which they state were $139.88ea. The exact same part number sells for $37ea every where I look. The dealer charges only $43ea and Autozone only charges $32ea. They also charged her a $99 computer diag fee which was not even performed as the part replaced has no computer interface and on top of that charged her $350 labor for all of 30 minutes it took to install these parts. The entire service time was less than 2hrs out the door and included a wheel alignment. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. I am well aware of the cost of these repairs as I am an ASC tech of over 30yrs but can not do the work any longer due to a neck injury. I hope your company executives have very little sleep tonight after reading this email. $625 for this work is an abomination and is 100% predatory!!! When I called their support line they were as bad as the store and admitted they mark parts up 150% above MSRP! Well, They marked it up a whole lot more than that as they list full retail for $37! Signed a very upset fatherPlus, Check out their standard answer and when you call the number they say "Sorry we can't help you" No moral standings at all. I can tell you they will not last long with these business practices! Don't bother wasting your time calling their customer support line. waste of time.."Standard answer to all complaints!" We're sorry that we failed to deliver the service you deserve. Thank you for taking the time to let us know. We would like to get more information, if we could, and provide any further assistance you require. Please call us toll-free at 1-800-876-6676 Option 6. Any one of the customer service reps can be of assistance.

It has been nothing but problems with this business from the time I stepped into the place. Spent > $1000 on pads & tires in January and asked them to check the rotors while they were at it. They said the rotors were fine. After the job was complete, I was back three (3) separate times for squealing/squeaking. Turns out they broke a caliper clip it was scratching my rotors. Took them two visits to figure it out. Recently came back because every time I step on the brakes, my whole car shakes...rotors right? The front desk associate told me the brake pads caused the damage/warping because they weren't OEM (even though I bought the "gold" brake package" and the mechanic at the shop told me he shaved my rotors down (apparently twice) without my consent back in January and now I need new rotors because they can't be shaved down again. I bought new pads/rotors directly from Jeep that day. I asked the company and corporate for some type of reimbursement - they reimbursed me for the brake job in January (admitted to wrong doing) but will not reimburse me for the new pads, rotors, or installation. Basically paying for the same job ALL OVER again. I will never be back. If anyone knows a good shop in Charlotte - please reach out!

I was able to get a new tire installed in less than an hour without an appointment. My morning got off to a rough start, getting a flat tire as soon as I pulled into work, but the staff here helped me end my morning on a good note. Thank you for your efficiency and professionalism! Highly recommend this location.

Look, I get it. Customer service has changed in the past 3 years. I accept that and am willing to move on. But this place goes out of its way to be rude and unprofessional. I just got an oil change there and they the forgot to reset the maintenance light. Fine, no biggie. Things happen. Went back the next day and the mechanic walks out like a spoil child, motions for my keys without saying a word or looking me in the eye, does whatever he needs to do, and literally tosses my keys to me when he's done. Walks off without a word. So I say to the "front desk person" what the F is that guys problem!?!? Not to mention now my car is making a strange noise that it wasn't making before i took it in. They say they can't do anything about it. This is not the first time I've encountered this type of service at Mr Tire. I jus't don't get it. You're charging me over $100 dollars for an oil change, you don't complete the job, you leave my car worse than what it was, and I'm the problem!? I will never take my car here again and if I could give a negative review I would. Stay away from this place.

This is my second time visiting this location. I am relocating from MD. Because of my favorable experience in the MD location, I knew I wanted to give the Charlotte location a try. I'm so grateful that I did! On both occasions, the service was great. Without going into all personal details, Tim handled my tire repair with professionalism, compassion, and sincere concern for my well-being in an upcoming long-distance trip. If you need tires, THIS location is where you must go!! Tim, thank you for your act of kindness and personal care of my car! This type of customer service is rare and speaks volumes to the kind of person you are and the type of business that you run. Thank you! You are MY new tire service center!

Came to get tires installed that I had purchased online. $30.99 per wheel, slightly more than I’m used to but whatever. The wheels were installed in the wrong position and damaged my strut and wheel. When the car was lowered the tech had to press on the gas to get the car to move; should have been a clear sign something was wrong. The two techs working on it were clueless and had to call in the mechanic to sort it out. When I pointed out the damage the mechanic just said not to worry about it, even though there’s part of the weld on the strut completely grinded off. Overall took 3 hours to mount 4 tires with no other customers around.Slow service, clueless techs, and damaged my car on a simple tire install. I wouldn’t have even mentioned the price if not for the other issues.

I've gotten my car serviced at this location a few times and customer service has always been superb. This go round it was not that great. The first encounter was friendly but my exit was not so. The manager's body language and facial expressions said "pay, leave and stop asking me questions". Any of my visits whether Charlotte or Greensboro, Im normally asked what type of oil I'd like. This go round I wasn't so when I heard the price I knew it was lower than what I'd been paying at other locations so I asked if I was given high mileage oil because that's what I'd gotten used to getting. He stares and just says you have 10,000 miles it's synthetic. I just said ok. I go to my car and notice my sticker hadn't been changed. I asked if they did stickers. He came out took my sticker down and instead of writing the date and my current mileage he wrote 230K . I currently have 202,000 miles on my car sooooooo if I have 10K til my next visit it definitely wouldn't be 230K. I didn't waste my time going back in with another question but I was certainly disappointed at the lack of attention to detail. For mileage in and mileage out on the receipt it says 1 for both . Maybe I just came at a bad time today.

I went in saying I needed to replace all my tires and they took a look at my car and treads on the 3 tires not flat and said I only needed to replace the one and they had a match. I don’t know many other places that would be so honest and they have earned my business for that. Also guys at Frye front was awesome.

I had my mom come in to get her oil and coolant topped off, and tire pressures adjusted.I had her bring in her own coolant and oil too.The shop charged her $100 dollars to SIMPLY top off two fluids that she provided, and to simply adjusted the tire pressures.I find that absolutely RIDICULOUS.I myself am a mechanic and it takes less than FIVE MINUTES minutes to do what I requested. (I couldn’t do it myself because I moved away from home out of state and no longer live with them)The labor rate at the DEALERSHIP I work at in NJ is $177/hr. To do an oil change pays .5 of an hour in labor and that in itself is $88.50 in labor AT A DEALERSHIP.This little FRANCHISE shop charged my mother $100 bucks just to top off fluids which we provided and to adjust tire pressures. ABSOLUTE HIGHWAY ROBBERY.

Brought my vehicle in for the first time after going to other auto service centers, and I was blown away by the customer service and price! Rodney was able to explain and answer all my technical questions, so I fully understood brake issues. His team were also able to identify, diagnose, and repair problems that the dealer repair shops could not, and they charged HUNDREDS less! Highly recommend and will be a repeat, loyal customer in the future!
