Had a great experience today in Ulta. Jhalisa is awesome…She did my eyebrow waxing and lashes. She made me feel very comfortable and gave tips on products to use and how to keep up with my brows/lashes. Will be back to have my eyebrows wax. Thanks for the great service Jhalisa!!!

I wanted to share an immense amount of gratitude for the employees I interacted with today at this Ulta branch. I wish I would’ve gotten their names as they were so wonderful. I am a social worker and I brought one of my girls in to get some makeup she’s been wanting. She’s about to turn 17 and really wanted to start expressing herself through makeup. I’m not the greatest with makeup and tried to help her my best. When we got up to the counter the cashier noticed the swatch on her hand was way too dark. She immediately dropped what she was doing and her and another employee helped my kid out. They sat her down tried multiple different shades of foundation and taught her how to use it properly for her skin color and type. When the one we wanted to get was not in stock and no longer being sold they went back to square one and helped us find a solution. I was in tears leaving the store because it was such a special moment for this kid. She left so happy and feeling beautiful. I cannot thank you guys enough for making her first Ulta trip so special! ❤️

This place is a unprofessional and sad excuse for a business. I waited 17 minutes for my curbside order before calling and asking if there was a problem and I waited an additional 5 minutes. I arrived at 4:09pm and it is now 4:32 pm. The online order was incomplete and I was charged more than my online order price. I also lost my $15 promo when purchasing over $50. They did not apply the credit. Don’t shop here. Go somewhere else. They don’t care and they are incompetent. I will never make another purchase at Ulta again in my life. They can have the credit line back also. I don’t need the problems or wasted time.

The store was disorganized, the staff lacked knowledge, and many products were out of stock despite having testers available. Improved organization and better-trained staff would greatly enhance the shopping experience. I only shop at Ulta because Sephora doesn’t have MAC products, otherwise Ulta is no where close to the shopping experience or the staff at Sephora.

Visited the store recently to purchase some new makeup and was assisted by Mackenzie. She was so nice and very helpful. She not only took the time to go over each one of my needs and concerns but she also provided me with amazing makeup tips and tricks. I will definitely recommend her for anyone looking for help with skincare and beauty.

Store is generally pretty disorganized and not very clean each time I’ve been in, but there are some great associates! However, I decided this is my last time at this location, though. The older lady at the checkout is so rude every time I’m there. RUSHING (for no reason, it’s the same every time I’ve been in) and calls down the line of people (even if it’s 2-3 people in line) “CASH OR CARD??” “CASH OR CARD!?” And she’s just running two registers. Super unnecessary and creates the weirdest environment. Everybody in line just has their eyebrows raised like what are we doing? Even the other employees will look at her when she yells down the line at customers asking how they’re paying and then look back at you like a silent “sorry” lol. I’ll drive an extra 10 mins to a different location for a better experience.

My fiance and I came in to get our foundation shade matched per our makeup artist's request for our upcoming wedding. Mckenzie was very approachable and helpful, she stopped what she was doing immediately to help us find the right shades. She was kind, personal, and great at her job!

Never had a bad experience here it’s what you would expect out of a beauty and makeup store. Staff are friendly, give you privacy when shopping (I really don’t like it when sales associates lurk like in similar makeup store chains) but are ready to help the moment you need it.

I love the location of this Ulta and some of the employees are nice, patient, and helpful. They helped me find the right foundation & concealer before. However, others leave a lot to be desired. Some individuals can be kind of snobby towards you if you either don't want to spend a lot of money that day or you are dressed a certain way. I typically dress a bit nicer but one evening I was dressed in a wrinkled tshirt and beat up tennis shoes (exercise/dog walking clothes). Your experience just depends on whoever is there at the time. The lady at checkout was very rude and short with me..the same one being talked about in many of these reviews (older lady). I understand I was checking out 5 minutes after closing (I had come in the store well before that though and someone was assisting me) but I am a very kind customer and I also worked in retail for a number of years. I was about to leave it's not like I came in there right before closing and took my time. I prefer a better experience when I shop somewhere. A makeup/skincare store is supposed to make people feel beautiful and good about themselves. Not like people don't want to be bothered with them. Also there is often noone available to help or have to go up to someone and ask for help then wait and things are often out of stock (has happened multiple times)

This place is in need of new management. I overheard the manager being rude to employee. This wasn’t my first visit seeing this type of interaction. You can always tell who’s new. They are happy to be there and up beat. When i return weeks later you can tell the staff has gotten to them.. ULTA SHUFFLE YOUR MANAGERS AROUND OR HIRE SOME NEW Ones… put tammy in the back from what i can see with reviews and ppl who are little more guest friendly up front.. THIS PLACE IS STARTING TO ME MAKE EVEN ME AS A CUSTOMER SAD!!!! OH and i was looking for a perfume and the young lady asked another for assistance an d she stared past her as if she didn’t hear her.. the lady ignoring her does the eyebrow by pink counter.. I was so embarrassed for her… Told her don’t worry abt it i’ll go to bells .. i had never seen someone blatantly ignore or disrespect a coworker.. But if your manager is rude , U can be rude to i guess

The manager at store 5 on ikea blvd in Charlotte nc. She was so pleasant and patient. I was shopping for my son some cologne. She went to back to check for sets. She is a good example of excellence customer service. First time I went into that store and felt welcome. Thank You snd keep up the Good Work.
