The employees are extremely rude. Luz told me today I could not use my USPS box when I returned with an Amazon box she told me that I couldn’t use it because it’s not USPS…? Rolling of eyes when I asked what box I should use. She said you have to pay for one, it’s extremely inappropriate to expect me to pay for a box when the new rules state a box of your own…? I didn’t realize USPS owned Amazon now

The worst experience ever. When I came to this post office there were 2 cashiers accepting people but in 1 minute one worker just left and now there is only 1 cashier who is extremely slow and ! 15 ! people in line. This is ridiculous. I feel like I’m in 90’s, not in 2025. That’s ver sad how poor the service is. You guys need to improve seriously, it’s a joke.

This Ballantyne office employees are plain rude, talk to customers as if they are misbehaving toddlers. They allow raising voice and scolding people . It’s appalling we pay money for this type of service. Unacceptable!

Went on 8/14/25 around 1:30pm to try and get some help understanding where my package has gone. I think the employee’s name was Judith or something like that- she was extremely rude and unhelpful and I was so blown away by her attitude. I’ve lived in ballantyne and have been coming to this usps for 15 years but not anymore because of that awful woman.
She shut down everything I was trying to say and insisted the driver would leave a pink slip if the package was undeliverable, but it’s been two days of receiving an update saying the driver cannot access the location. I don’t live in a gated community and the second update came when I was sitting in my driveway and there was no driver to be seen.
They’re marking packages as undeliverable without even trying to deliver them. So obviously the driver isn’t leaving a pink slip but this miserable Judith lady couldn’t make any effort to understand what is going on with my package and just repeated they’ll leave a pink slip even though THEYRE NOT. She was just so unpleasant and rude and I don’t understand the point of working in a place like that if you’re just going to treat people like absolute crap.
I called the usps call center and she said that they’re not supposed to mark a package as undeliverable two days in a row and she opened a service request investigation to track down the package and figure out what’s going on.
Avoid the grumpy miserable rude mean hearted white lady named Judith or something similar to that. So unnecessary to be so unhelpful and a waste of time, just quit instead of giving loyal residents a hard time and no help for no freaking reason.

This branch is in shambles. The employees are rude and lack any customer service tools. Mail to my subdivision is consistently late and haphazardly delivered. They also consistently loose packages that are never recovered. They also mark packages delivered but in reality they have not. Example, I have two packages that were marked delivered to my front porch/door. Neither of them have been delivered but the USPS shows them otherwise delivered. This may be the only good point to privatizing the Post Office service, break a bad union that protect incompetence and force people to be accountable for bad service.

8/10/2025 - currently under investigation for extremely high reports of checks and mail theft at this location.
12/14/2022 - misdelivered a package with 3 christmas gifts in it and a gift card has come up missing..all with in the same week...superior service once again!
3/12/21 Dear Post office. Just because you can fold something in half to cram into a mail box doesnt mean you should.
11/30/2020 - dropped a package off at the self service kiosk drop box...package hasnt been seen since.
Really rude and sarcastic people. Self serve kiosk has a 50% chance of being out of order when I go.
7/25/2020 - not only did they misdeliver the 2 packages i was supposed to get. They must have sent them to 2 different addresses. One neighbor returned one to me thank God. The other is MIA. That is awesome dont you think? To screw up so bad to not even bring both packages to the same wrong address,
11/25 - lost another package, great job guys!

Good luck mailing anything important out of this location on Ballantyne Commons Parkway. On several occassions I have sent multiple checks out of this office that were not delivered. Once or twice could be a mishap. Any more than that indicates incompetence and/or indifference on the part of employee(s). I am sensitive to the bad rap that postal workers receive and try to remain positive but this location has to be the worse.

Check was stolen from mail and tried to drain acct.electronically.NEVER had any issues with Matthew's Post Office.
Beware of mailing anything out of this post office!

I honestly don’t even know who to complain to or who to curse out anymore!!! They lost my engagement ring right before my wedding!!! They said they couldn’t deliver it because the gate was closed - WHAT gate?! There are no gates, no locks, nothing!!! I hope the person who didn’t even bother to show up never receives another package in their entire life!!! I curse u!!!!
On top of that, I’m still waiting for my credit card the bank has sent it THREE times already and it still hasn’t been delivered!!!
This is an absolute disgrace!!!!
It’s July 9th today! It’s been two whole days, and there hasn’t been a single attempt to deliver my package!
I even went to the post office, and they keep giving me different stories every time they can’t even get their facts straight!!!

Someone is stealing from this post office! We get pictures of our mail through the informed delivery. On the 24th we were to get a title to our car, a credit card, and a personal card.. all three are missing! My husband got a notification from the missing card and someone activated it and tried to charge $1000 to born2hustle.
