I've always like the Neighborhood Walmarts as it's a quick and convenient way to get grocery and hygienic needs without the hassle of the larger Walmart crowds (plus parking). They are usually easy to navigate. This location recently had a renovation. It wasn't really needed as it's not much older than 4 years I believe...it can only be better. Looks like a few more aisles and the warm foods section is bigger. I always find markdowns here. Good to try new things, sweets, makeup, and coffee on markdown. A Gas station, small restaurants, nail shop, and salon right there too.

I was trying to exchange $8 worth of product for the same brand, only a different flavor. The employees do not even understand their own return policies. What a bunch of idiots. The situation escalated when I tried to explain their own return policies to them . It ended with the front end manager telling me to fuck off, get the fuck out her face ( I wasn't even in her face), fuck you a whole list of offenses and obscenities. The "customer service" (if you can call it that) refused to help me, told me to go somewhere else, and threw my product back at me!!!! Don't give Walmart your hard earned dollars! They don't care anything about their customers!!!!!

What a dump!!! The isles were so cluttered with skids full of product people trying to put stuff on the shelves and workers doing the shopping for Instacart and other online shopping it was damn near impossible to get down an isle. Then there were no cashiers. Everything was scan yourself. People had more stuff in their cart than there was room to put it, the lines were backed up down already full isles. This place is in need of proper management.

I understand the need to have certain items locked/keyed! But to have your customer wait 45 minutes for assistance is horrible!! Then to have the same customer checkout their own items??!! Walmart you're NOT the friendly neighbor store! You're selfish, greedy, and terrible!! If you cannot staff your store- make better provisions for your customer's! Stock items near the register instead of tobacco!! You probably use Amazon to get your groceries because clearly you don't shop at your own store!! Foolery and horrible service!!

Do not come to this Walmart. I live across the street and have been coming here for two years and they only have roughly two lanes open at all times. During covid I came to get groceries like everyone else and they had three lanes open during the hour I spent shopping and another 30 minutes waiting in line. They do not care here lol trust me go to food lion down the street

I've never had any problems with this location in the 4 years they've been opened until yesterday when I went to the money counter to pick up a $ gram for my son's birthday. The lady named, Lolli, behind the counter told me the money center was down in all walmarts . I went back in today and she was working behind the counter again, after standing in line while only one customer was in front of me for 20 minutes (she saw ppl waiting behind this lady who was having difficulty with her order and called a woman over to help her and the lady laughed and walked away as if she didn't want to open the other register to help this old woman who was moving at a snail's pace) Finally the customer in front of me left and I approached the counter telling her I was there to pick up a money order. Giving me the same "you're wasting time" attitude she gave me yesterday. I told her I had the 9 digits for my money order, she said "9 digits for what?" I said"to pick up my money gram". She said "yes, money gram, not order, you don't pick up a money order". I was so frustrated with her from standing in line so long and how she treated me yesterday and how she had treated another customer looking at her like she was diseased telling her she couldn't exchange a pack of chicken she purchased "Walmart doesn't do that", the lady went on to tell her she's done it before and Lolli told her "we don't do that because it's a pandemic,I can't take food back that you took home, you need to try to return it online". The lady huffed as she walked away after standing in line almost as long as I was. Anyway, she asked me the amount I was getting and I told her I wasn't sure and she smiled while looking at the computer looking at how much my money gram was for. I had to call my ex father in law who sent the money and I was so upset with this old heifer by then and told her nevermind, and told the person behind me to go ahead and she said "no, I can't help him until I'm done helping you". I got my son's grandfather on the phone and he told me the correct amount and I told her. She asked me his name and I told her and gave her my ID. I got my money and did not thank her for assisting me and being a butthole two days in a row. You better be grateful your old @$$ is working during this pandemic and need to start showing some customer service to the customers in the store. I'm never rude to elderly ppl, but this lady needs to be at home in quarantine. Won't be going back to that money center especially if she's there.

I come here about once every couple of wks when I need things and don't want to deal with the chaos that is the N Tryon Supercenter. For the most part, this location is cleaned and well-stocked. Staff can be hit or miss, but they het things taken care of. My only gripe about this location is that their posted prices do not often match the price at the register, which is not only annoying and inconvenient (I have started keeping a tab of what my groceries should be so when the total doesn't match, I can determine pretty quickly where the price discrepancy is) but makes me wonder if they do it on purpose since it is always an overcharge and never less than the posted prices. I've brought it to the staff's attention a few times and it doesn't seem to be as frequent as it once was, but I had to have two price corrections on my last visit. So, if you shop here, stay vigilant of what the shelf price says vs what you are charged at checkout! I had bought several of the same item where there was a price diff and if I had caught it, I would have ended up being overcharged by almost $5, which may not seem like a lot, but honestly if I am shopping at Walmart it isn't because I have $5 extra dollars to be overcharged to begin with! (thus the 2 stars instead of 3) In any case, just be aware and if it happens, catch it and say something #themoreyouknow

It is small but for groceries it's better than Thunder Road because it's not as chaotic. Whenever I go to the Thunder Road location, their groceries are always a mess and the layout is inefficient and not intuitive. Granted even this Walmart is always unpacking shipments, but at least I can run in and grab what I need and they tend to have it. (Basics only) also their checkout lines are pretty short and much more swift compared to a big Walmart.

Convenient but closes self checkout too early. Usually gets packed around the evening and they don't seem to have enough registers open. But that's the usual because it's Walmart

I've never been in a Walmart neighborhood market before. I was kind of assuming it was something like a dollar general to be honest. I was very wrong. It's more like a grocery store. While my wife and I were in town visiting, we were staying in hotel. Tired of eating out, we came in here to get some food supplies we can have at our hotel room. We came in kind of late in the evening so there wasn't a lot of people in there. I thought the store was organize well and clean and the checkout process was quick and painless. They had a good selection of things in the deli area, such as premade sandwiches and microwavable calzones (that's the kind of thing I was looking for). All in all good visit.

So this is a Walmart neighborhood market. This was my first time in one and I wish we had one in my hometown because I do all my shopping there. My husband I came in while we were in Concord for a couple days. We wanted to get a few items that we can keep in our hotel room and seeing the store in the area we really want to stop in. They had everything we were looking for and more. And the prices were really good.

!!!THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!! I would definitely suggest driving the extra miles just to AVOID stopping at this location. Customer service over the phone is HORRENDOUS employees are blatantly rude and extremely unprofessional. The store is unorganized and only have one cashier at times. If you enjoy standing in line for a long period of time, self service check out stations that DO NOT work majority of the time and people hanging up on you while you are asking a simple question in regards to their hours of operations then congratulations you've found it !!

WARNING: Got food poisoning twice from their frozen products since it's been open. Breyers Ice Cream and the Walmart Pizza. The ice cream appeared melted and refrozen. They should be shutdown. @USDA @USDAFOODSAFETY @WALMART Also, they improperly train their cashiers in bagging. They mix cold food with dry foods. BREAD with boxes and cans. No other store I've been to does this ever in my life. Makes no sense. They have no safety/health standards or consideration of the packing of customers groceries.
