Since we have come to charlotte we have gone to Walmart on Albemarle rd.
One good reason is their pharmacy and they are priced far better than big pharm. I noticed that one day long ago when I went to one on WT Harris and come out with drugs about 20-330% above what Walmart had charged a few months later. I don’t know exactly when, but I have been going to my Walmart ever since. For a time frame we came here in 1996 when we moved to the house we’re in now! So, yeh! A long time.
I gave 4 stars because sometimes, especially in the beginning it tended to be messy and dirty. However, over the years it began to clean up and become more organized. The people we see are nicer though admittedly they are rather sparse and can be difficult to reach. Now with so many thieves in America (I’m sure you’ve heard the news about people that just believe in doing things for their own benefit and who cares about the ultimate cost to everyone involved) but I digress: When the products are locked up and require someone to open them, that tends to slow the shopping down a great deal. But again short of not having enough staff, it is not as bad as it could be considering the facts that ultimately caused it.
If Walmart would pay a better pay, I would likely consider a position. However, I guess I will find out this summer when I need a job from driving school busses. There is one thing I wish they could build to… a super Walmart. But I know they do not have room for it. And the others are a little too far away for a prescription pick up and generally too crowded. Make your choices. But Albemarle has improved so I am not straying away from around the corner yet! I would have to move accordingly!

Customer service, Diana, gave me a terrible and derogatory attitude. After this bad experience, I requested to speak with the manager. His name is Julio and, literally, after I explained my concern, he told me, “Did you finish?” All this over a $10 return, they told me that I had to return the defective item to the original store I purchased, and my logic was: Why if this is a franchise, they should be able to help, but they didn't. I called the 1-800 number, and after they spoke with the upper manager, Prince, they replaced the item. They never apologized, and they kept the same attitude until I left. Horrible experience……

This store is trash. The employees are mostly rude and they never know what they are doing. You’ll be stared at and followed around the store as if they know you came into the store to steal.
They make it really uncomfortable to even walk into the store! I feel like I’m automatically committing a crime when I use self check out (because literally no manned registers are open).
I really hate this location. The customer service desk is never open. Hours alwaysssss vary. The pick up employees are oblivious. They need to shut this location down completely. Do a complete rebrand, fire and rehire better staff. It’s ghetto and horrible.

It's Walmart. The homogeneity is a feature not a bug. You can find what you want/need - unfortunately all while every employee is abused and severely underpaid.

Terrible every time I go into Walmart I have a security guard following me. This walmart is terrible and the service is terrible. Prices are good but besides that I’m not shopping at Walmart anymore.

They need to clean up. We went there to get a milk and we found out there was probably a milk or something else got spelled inside the cooler and as soon as we opened it, it smelled really bad, hence we have stopped shopping there.
We have no plans going back there anytime soon to shop.

I went in to pick up money at services desk and the young ladies waited on me, keep asking me the answer that I had written down for her to make its easy and then I told her I gave you all the information and she got a attitude and was very rude. Her manager apologized for her but she still had a attitude.

Very bad experience, it is not reliable. Today I went shopping for Valentine's cards and chocolates. When I left I ate one and was just about to give one to my son when I felt unpleasant and looked at the date and they were expired.

It doesn’t make any difference what you say is the reason. No store in stock in area's OPI MATTE NAIL P. F $7.98 but online it gives $9.90. FALSE ADVERTISING!! YES IT IS! Do the mental math!!!
