Located about and hour and half out of Atlanta, you are transported to a totally different landscape and vibe. Really surprised to see the poor overall stars on the property but I get the feeling maybe people are rating a less than fun casino visit. The property itself is expansive with restaurants, rooms/towers, meeting rooms, a concert venue, little shops, and bars. And of course slot machines :). We stayed in the newest tower (I think the Cherokee) and asked for a view of the mountains. We got a nice high floor and nice view (minus the parking garage which is what it is). The room was clean, spacious, and comfy. The restaurant options are good just watch the times at the Gordon Ramsay food hall as some things close earlier than you probably think they should. Guy Fieri's restaurant was a refreshing surprise (check out my review on the restaurant's page). As for the casino, it's large with many popular options and fam favorites. The people there can be a little aggressive with the slots but that is common at casinos so I don't fault the establishment. Definitely worth of a trip if you've never been and we are looking forward to another visit.

I brought my great aunt here and she thoroughly enjoyed herself. The casino is big with lots of options. The staff was friendly and helpful. They came around periodically to check if she needed anything. There were tons of machines with varying amounts to spend. I love the loyalty program. She ended up playing $100 worth of games for free. We stayed on the property in the convention center hotel. It was new and modern and I'm so glad I switched rooms before the stay. There were lots of eating choices. Not too easy to find healthy options. The food was good but not healthful. There was salad but the dressing was an issue. I plan to take her often and she's looking forward to returning.

I went here on my trip to Pigeon Forge, TN. I stopped by on a Saturday around lunch. It wasn't too crowded, but steady. The parking for self parking is in a parking garage. There maybe additional working and I believe there is valet. The parking garage had easy access to the casino. The entire casino and grounds was clean. I enjoyed walking through and seeing all the action. There is many eating options as well. They do ID and have to be 21 and older to enter. I HIGHLY recommend stopping by just to check it out.

We did not stay on the property but rather visited the casino during our stay in Asheville.Normally when we visit a casino we take the approach of how much are we willing to loose for the entertainment value and if we end up winning so be it.Well during our visit we hit some small wins but overall ended up loosing. Having said that we enjoyed the visit and the gaming.Lots of machines of varied denominations and a good number of tables - didn't play any tables during this visit.

You will not have a great time here, only a good time. This place is huge and it has lots of machines, table games, poker, lots of places to eat, it's really quite the eye candy. That's as far as the excitement gets, then the disappointments starts. I paid in advanced for a room with a king size bed. I received an email and was offered early self check-in the day of my arrival and I thought how convenient they already know what room and bed I want I can just do the self check in and not have to wait in line. Wrong. When I enter the room, it had two queen size beds. I called the front desk and was informed that self check in just give you the first available room. She said no problem I can just go downstairs and change it. I gave my information and figured they could check the reservation on the computer and see that I asked for a king size bed, wrong again. Same thing different floor. Again downstairs and this time I told them that I asked for a king size bed, and that it should be on my reservation. Finally getting the correct room. We settled in and saw how looks can be deceiving. The room looked great. It was clean the bathroom was gorgeous, but the Mohegan Pennsylvania makes this place look like an expensive Econo Lodge. There were certain amenities that the Mohegan provided that should be standard practice. At Mohegan in our rooms we had water for our coffee packets and there was 4, not 2. We were received tickets for complimentary coffee or appetizer at a couple of the local restaurants and at a much lower price. Then they charged for drinks while you're losing your money in their machines, seven dollars for a Heineken five dollars for a Miller light. Mohegan gives you free drinks while you're gambling and their machines pay out better. I tell you what Harrahs Cherokee in North Carolina, you all need to step up your game. My husband and I are looking for a place to get away for a short stay 3 to 4 times a year and this is actually a perfect. It's only a 3 hour drive for us with wonderful scenery. Maybe will come back, but not for a while .

Always nice place to come if you want to do a close get a way from Augusta. Just remember it is the only Casino in town so the Casino usually wins. Get at restaurants. Ruth Cris, Gordon Ramsey, which we went to for dinner and lunch Gordon Ramsey has the BEST FRIED FISH. Seriously! We also went to Brio Italian Grille for dinner. DELICIOUS we used to come here for the fun, but the dinners are more 'profitable'. The local area also has so much to see and do as well as to purchase.come and see!

My favorite casino about anywhere. The decor and cleanliness are wonderful. The staff is super friendly. It is smoke free. Lots of gaming options. The hotel rooms are very high-end (and priced appropriately) and the food choices are plentiful and for all budgets. This is a gem in the mountains.

I am a daily Customer at Dunkin Donuts in my town. This Dunkin Express inside the Casino is Trash. Dunkin y'all need to take this OUT of Harrahs. At the very least, make it a full service.. not self serve. The area is NOT being kept up.It was dirty and not maintained very well. Stale Donuts and disgusting bean water...I LOVE DUNKIN but not this store.

We were in town for a friend wedding and pretty much all the guests said here which was great. They accommodated pretty much everyone in the same tower so it was easy to meet up. The interaction we had with employees of the resort were great. All very hopefully. We really only has one issue and that is that they do not turn the room around and we were not aware of that. So we had just called housekeeping for fresh towels. The casino is huge so make sure to say on the purple rug trail so you won't get lost in between the slots. It has a small food court for late night snacks. When I say small I mean there is a DD and Earl Sandwich Shop. There are a few restaurants on the resort and gift shops so you don't have to leave, but do explore the town if you get a chance. Check in and check out process was easy and quick.

So, you definitely want to be in the Mountain Tower here, which is much newer. The rooms are huge and comfortable, if a little bland. The mattress gave a great night's sleep and the mini-fridge worked great. The casino is OK and does feel somewhat like the Vegas experience, in terms of the variety of games and the maze-like layout. But it's more akin to the older Vegas places and doesn't have much wow factor. I did enjoy all the dealers I encountered, who seemed to want to be helpful and encourage folks to have fun. The restaurant selection is really where this place falls short. Ruth's Chris is your best bet -- and it's fine, just not very exciting. Definitely ho-hum in the food department. What is nice is that parking is easy and free and they have an online check-in option. They will send you an email the morning of your check-in and you can complete the process online and then just stop by a kiosk in the lobby and scan a code to get your room number and key. As for casinos, this is pretty much the only option in the region and in some ways that is reflected in the offerings. But it's still worth a visit and the surrounding area is beautiful.
