Usually my first stop when I get up to Cherokee. Clean restroom and cold drink. I gas up there to ride the mountains and enjoy the area. I even get little toys or nick nacks to bring back for the grandkids.

Clean, nice cashier, my only thing is the hours of operation are wrong. They do not open at 6am on Sunday. Please update hours to reflect correct hours of operation

I stopped here for fuel. I also went inside the convenience store. They had all the expected food and snack items as well as some apparel. I spotted a pretty t shirt. It was screen printed with flowers and Great Smoky Mountains. Needless to say, I bought it!

I just recently moved back to Cherokee and needed a temporary job while I got my business resituated. I run a living history organization and travel to establish new chapters.I stopped in at this location and asked if they were hiring. The lady said yes and asked if I had time to fill out an application. I was in a hurry at the time so I asked if I could take the application and bring it back. I was told that if I took the application out of the doors that when I brought it back, it would just be thrown away immediately.I run a business and that is very unprofessional and a great way to miss out on potentially great employees.I just wanted to share this because I myself have worked 50-80 hours a week for different companies for years and I always show up on time and learn quickly. I see myself as a great employee. But because I was told that my application would be thrown away if I didn't fill it out in the store, I lost all interested in providing my time to this gas station.
