For souvenirs from Cherokee, there is no better place than the Black Bear.

I always drop by here and find something beautiful. Store is a bit over crowded with merchandise. But mass appeal is its thing i suppose.

The best selection of turquoise earrings in that strip of stores. Prices were equivalent to every store in that strip (I'm talking about earrings only.) I didn't like that they were right by the register, I had to wait to look at them when no one was checking out because I couldn't get to them from the other side there was so much merchandise! They definitely had a good selection of souvenirs!

Finally, a shop that showcased authentic, local, native, quality craftmanship souvenirs/merchandise. The young lady, Ms. Patty was super pleasant and knowledgeable about my items of interest ( Dream Catchers ). If you are ever in the area and understand the value of supporting locals when spending your money, pop on in. Thanks again. Dr. Kimberley

This store, like several others in this strip have very similar so-called ethnic tourist gifts. A lot of it is super cheap stuff, in my opinion. Randomly, a lot of the stuff is what I used to see in Tijuana (like the woven blankets and ponchos.) I posted a picture so you can see for yourself. Prices are alright. I did buy a gift for my daughter so it's not all bad. Just not what I think would be authentic Native American stuff.

Wonderful gift shop:) Kind people AND the clerk (I wish I could remember her name because she was awesome) let me know that ketchup is a great cleaner for my copper bracelet I bought there. She was right and I'm grateful! Thank you.
