Visiting from out of town and they lost my rent check I mailed from this location. Now I have to pay to put a stop on the check and send another one (late) to my landlord. Find a different post office.

You are not able to use your United States Issued Federally Recognized Native American Identification Citizenship Cards at this location.Ironic given it's located on a Native American reservation.

I've never had any issues with the place the worker's are always nice to me. Sometimes i dont have a yellow slip and still ask if they seen my box and if not ill come back later tell them have a good day and leave. Sometimes they see my box before they are ready and give it to me. So thank you to the worker's ;) the people that have had issues its usually your fault, you don't have your key, it's not your po box or the most used my phone said. Its not the worker's fault, they don't go get your box. They're working low staff like everywhere else if you don't like it then don't use the place.

This place has went down hill SO BAD since they have had new workers. They are CONSTANTLY losing my packages. Not only me but there is always a line of people with the same problem . We don’tGet our percaps til the end of the day now and it used to be first thing in the morning. They literally just don’tCare.

I don't know who drives the blue vehicle for deliveries in Cherokee but they just delivered us someone else's package who lives no where near us, I get mistakes happen but this makes me worry about my amazon orders now and whoever drives the blue vehicle needs to be more careful. I can't get ahold of the post office to let them know so I decided to leave a review and luckily I recognized the name on the package and told her to come get it from me. Please be more careful.

You want to talk about dedication? I might not go to many Yelp events or tell people I'm Yelp Elite (never happens ... except right now I guess), but who the heck Yelps the Cherokee North Carolina Post Office? Now that's some freaking dedication! Enough patting myself on the back, at least for now. I'll just tell you about the post office. I will tell you two different stories. One is true and one is false. You will have to figure out which is true and which is false. Story 1: I entered the post office and held the door for a native. Despite doing my best to be friendly, he still glared at me like he didn't like me. I get it, but I personally had nothing to do with it. I then waited in line where I discussed the best breakfast places in town with a poker dealer who happened to be in front of me. I sent my watch to a buyer without a problem. In and out within ten minutes. Story 2: I entered the post office to find two women standing next to each other in line in front of me. The one with the shaved head smiled at her tattooed friend with eyeglasses flirtatiously. I could immediately tell what was going on. The same shaved-headed chick then looked at me and smiled. I just nodded and said, "Hey." Not that kind of "Hey." More like a, "Hello, how are you?" Her friend then looked at me and smiled, and I began to wonder what was happening. Were they messing with me? It was their turn to take care of business at the counter, so I waited patiently to send my watch. When they exited, the bald-headed chick smacked her friend on the backside and laughed over her shoulder in my direction. When I walked up to the counter, I found a blonde woman waiting to help me--in Cherokee, North Carolina, which is an Indian reservation. I shifted my eyes to the departing lesbians, then back to her, and said, "What's going on here?" "What do you mean? It's a post office." All this time, I had no idea post offices were places where you could see and experience things so out the ordinary. I'm purposely going to the Huntersville Post Office instead of the supermarket to buy stamps tomorrow. I'll keep you posted!
