Such great, helpful staff. They go out of their way to make you feel taken care of, and they usually have whatever the bigger pharmacies are out of.

Edit: I'm going to have faith that I won't have to wait 15-20 minutes next time and that it will be addressed, per the reply I received to my original review.Every time I go to pick up a prescription, I'm usually directed to pull out of line and wait in the parking lot for them to call me, so they can assist the next car while they are finishing up with my order. Sometimes it's been 3 minutes, sometimes it's been 10. No problem, it happens. HOWEVER; the last two times I've been, the car in front of me stayed at the window for 15-20 minutes waiting for their prescription, without being asked to pull into the parking lot or anything. They get to just wait for their order the entire time. Why?!

I started using O'Neal's Pharmacy when a friend referred me there. I was ready to get out of the CVS quagmire and waiting in line for sometimes 45 minutes to an hour. Unfortunately, I am not the most patient of people and I suspect that's why ALL the ladies up front don't even have to ask my name when I drive up. I can be really rude which is a character flaw I just cannot get a grip on. However, I have never been treated so well by a pharmacy staff, something QUITE DIFFERENT at Walgreen's and CVS. Their pharmacist are also top notch with the customer care. Just recently, I got a call from the pharmacist about a new antibiotic and the fact that my insurance would not cover it and it was going to be $300. She asked if I wanted her to fill it and I did not and called my doctor immediately. I was so appreciative of her call which saved me a trip only to find out that the prescription was out of my price range I was willing to pay for an antibiotic that might not even work. If I call and ask when my prescriptions will be ready, I have not failed to get it at precisely the time they say. I've even called to ask for a refill, of which I never have the correct prescription number, they say they will get it ready right now. If I call with 1 question or 25 questions, EVERYBODY, from the pharmacists, to the pharmacy techs, and the ladies up front will answer them patiently and explain to me what might be confusing me, which is increasingly easy to do. That's real hometown courtesy and not major corporate pharmacy discourtesy! I'm staying with O'Neal's in Chocowinity for sure. I'm ashamed that I have not taken the time to learn their names. I know the lovely Susan who is so sweet and nice, even when I'm not. I trust this pharmacy which is a lot coming from me. Thanks again for all you do!! My real name is Kathy Mata and yes, I am the Queen of the Chocohood! LOL!!

I've dealt with this store since it was built. Same rude staff that's been there since then. Prescriptions go up from 68.00 to 120 in 30 days, and no explanation. They need new staff, that will appreciate my money, as well as others. I'm almost ready to change up.
