Terrible service. Tried to order a used engine from these folks for a customer. They wanted me to wire transfer (who does that?) the money to them - wouldn't accept a credit card. Spent a full day trying to buy something from them. Couldn't get accounting on the phone, or the managers. Finally got so frustrated that I cancelled the order - I would rather pay more somewhere else than deal with this headache.

Terrible service, and this place does not communicate. Called in on 11/14 to order a part from Derek Spillman. Was told to come in the next day to pick up the part drove an hour and a half to come pick up the part for them to tell me that it was missing and to request a refund after I had already paid for it. Bad business practice.

Had a part advertised on their website so I called several times and couldn't get anyone to answer. Figured they were probably busy so I took the 30 minute drive and found out their sales staff work from home noone is actually on site to answer questions at all you have to call a number they have posted on the front door . Long story short after wasting alot of time I finally got to talk to someone who informed me they don't actually have the parts they have in multiple listings.

Doors locked at 2:30 pm on a Monday. Nobody would answer the phone, only a recording that they were open 8am to 5pm. They won't get my business anymore.

First off, it was extremely hard to get a hold of someone. Made a purchase on a fender and after the transaction was completed, the sales rep ended up selling me the wrong one and was off by 10 years. Disappointed.

Called to order a fender. The salesman didn’t order what I asked for. He ordered one that he thought was more fitting as he claimed it had zero damage, but was more expensive. After a week of waiting for it to come in, I was shocked to find it had heavy damage. It had multiple dents and dings that were noticeable to the eye.I did get a partial refund, so I guess it’s not all bad. Paint match was 100%

Ordered a head for 2009 Cobalt. Was assured it had been tested and was ready to go. It came in and was sent to the head shop. He stated it was completely worn out and could not be repaired. Called Matlock's and scheduled the return. Driver shows up and refuses to take it due to it not being completely assembled. Why would you reassemble something that was broken beyond repair? Sent it back to the head guy to assemble. $200 is what we spent on the head that was "in great working order and passed all the tests" just to find out it was worthless. Matlock's wouldn't give a credit or offer anything for our expense and time. The customer service there is TERRIBLE. All you can expect is lies and passing the buck.

Sold us 2 bad transmissions. We spent over $3K and still don’t have a transmission. Kenneth was the salesman and his boss Jeff backs up his bad business ethic. It’s been 2 months and my vehicle is still sitting on a trailer. Please do not make the mistake of wasting your time and money they will not compensate you and they do not care.

I worked with Matlock for a used Nissan Altima transmission. We all flip a coin with salvage parts, this time around I flipped wrong and went through a lot. But, the sales tech Phil helped me through it all and was very pleasant to work with, due to this even though it didn’t work out this time I will continue to work with Matlock in the future.

The guy was such a peach, offeeree a fair price to have the part I need delivered. Not sure if it's normal but he saved my butt. Kenneth informed me as soon as he got the part an was a life savor.
