Stay clear. Paid to have my tire patched twice (same tire) because they did not patch it either time. Went to a different tire company after lube and tube, damaged my tire with six holes in it now buying a new tireFailed my inspection for legal factory tentWent somewhere else and passed no problemWorst mechanics ever, and I'm certain they deliberately punctured SIX holes in my tire

I will Never Ever go back to this place! I took my car here to be repaired and it was in worse condition when I got it back then when I took it. Also, they weren't very receptive when I complained. Brought it back in and the problem still exists. They will Never get another coin from me

I recently went here. I needed new brake pads, and rotars installed on my rear car.I normally do my own brakes and rotars. I wanted to try it. I don't even know if they actually bought a new rotar or just found 1 laying around and put it on..I would check your car for any rust. It should be new.:Update: I got my brakes and rotars rear done on my vehicle. I went in and had them warranty the "New" brakes and rotars again. I found out they actually store the rotars and brake pads in storage but order them 9 months ahead. So it sits in the storage for awhile.I'm abit sketched out because of what they did to me the first time. They say, they put on new brakes before but the ones they put on now is totally different than the other rotar I had on. But all in all I'm glad they fixed it.I'm pleased that Phil took the time to talk with me and let me get warranty on the new brakes and rotars. I'm not sure I'll be getting my brakes and rotars here after the experience I had but, Thank you giving me a new rotar and brake pads.

I actually bought a car from the owner. He said that they replaced the engine. A month later the engine broke down because there was no oil in the oil pan. If the engine was replaced, how could it be out of oil in a month. I have never heard of an engine burning 4 quarts of oil in a month. Needless to say I wouldn't take a car there for an oil change or any maintenance. My son, who took his vehicle there, had tires put on his car. The mechanic put new locking lugs on the wheels and never have my son the adapter to remove them. My son stopped taking his car there because he discovered their intentional mistake when he tried to do his own brakes. If you don't have a locking lug remover, you have to take back to the ones that put them on. Very shady business. I have even heard that the mechanics he hired forget to put the oil plug in. Don't use this business. Especially when he can't keep two shops running and has to reduce to one.

This business is a gem! Honest and superior customer service!I recently bought my car in to have a front-end alignment. They said the alignment was ok.They could’ve said that there were issues that have to be addressed, and incurring a major monetary expense. But that wasn’t the case.Because of this experience, I am now a loyal customer!

Great shop saved our family road tripThe story goes, me and the family had road trip planned and had about 17 hours in the car ahead of us. So, like a good car owner I wanted to make sure my 2012 Honda CR-V would not break down in the middle of the drive.I took it into a "Franchise that shall not be named" and asked for an oil change, an inspection, and our "free alignment". Sure enough inspection showed no problems. "That sound you hear?" "Don't worry about it." "The grinding noise?" "We didn't hear it and the breaks look fine to me."3 hours into our drive the breaks feel a little bumpy. Over the next 5 hours this gets gradually worse. Luckily we make it to our destination without any major issue.Even luckier, Clayton Lube and Tune was down the street. I called them first thing in the morning, told them I was from out of town, and they got me in that morning. Communication was great, I love they do there communication via call AND text outlining everything in writing. They found warped rotors (missed on [FRANCHISE REDACTED] inspection) on the front of the car and had them fixed by the time I had finished brunch.Nothing but smooth driving the 8 hours home.(They also fixed the AC I had overcharged :P)Services: Auto A/C recharge

Nice waiting room with Wi-Fi, bathroom and coffee. Staff seems very knowledgeable, we’re helpful and friendly. Pretty reasonable price for oil change and was in and out pretty quickly.

Long story short they are opportunists and looking for any way to take your money. They take advantage of ignorance and are not eager to help customers, even when the customer is asking questions and trying to find more affordable solutions. They are price gougers. My father took my car in for an oil change and left paying $90+ extra for a SIMPLE replacement of a cabin air filter and an engine air filter. Which we learned takes about 2 minutes to replace and parts total about $12 maximum. Needless to say, we will drive further to take our cars to our preferred mechanic that doesn’t charge an arm and a leg for 2 minutes of labor. Lesson learned. I blame myself for trusting them. Great price for the oil change but they are feeding off of recommended repairs. Beware and don’t be afraid to do your own research.

The worst experience ever. Went in with one problem came home with another . I won't ever let these guys touch anything of mine. They left parts off and some tools in vehicle. Stay away from these guys cause they don't care.

We're from PA and were visiting family in Clayton when a serious sounding noise started in our 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. We stopped into Clayton Lube & Tune on a Friday and they were totally booked, but the very friendly person at the counter said it sounded like our problem could be wheel bearings. We left, thought over trying to get the vehicle home and decided that was too dangerous, so returned. We were delighted that, despite the fact that we would be unlikely to give them further business, being we lived in PA, so they had nothing to gain, they fit us in on Monday, completed replacement of the two front wheel bearings and housings (which did turn out to be the problem) in one day, gave us a full diagnostic report on the van, stayed in touch via text and an itemized estimate, and we drove home the next day, ten hours, with not a single problem. To say we were grateful is an understatement. We cannot recommend them highly enough, and were we permanent residents, they would most certainly be our mechanics and we would trust not only their skill, but their integrity.Service: Steering & suspension repair

The most trustworthy mechanic I've ever been to. Good work, they've fixed things other places said they couldn't. Always pleased with the work and customer service. I recommend it to everyone!

I took my car in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. They noticed a leak while doing the oil change, which I also had them fix. The staff were helpful and friendly and even transported me home while they took additional time to fix my car. Highly recommended!!!!Services: General repairs & maintenance

Called to make a DMV inspection appointment on a holiday. Wasn't expecting anyone to answer, but a nice lady answered and gave me an appointment for a few days later. Dropped the car off the morning of the appointment with no issues. Received a call later that afternoon telling me the vehicle failed the inspection and that we needed over $1k worth of work done. Wasn't expecting that and told them I'd come pick up the vehicle. Paid the inspection fee and went home. Later, I looked at the inspection sheet and discovered that the only reason the vehicle failed was due to the tint on the windows. It felt like this business was disingenuous at best; but more like outright dishonest and trying to get as much money out of me as possible. We removed the tint ourselves and took it to another inspection facility down the road where we passed with zero issues.

I took my car to the dealership and found out there was an issue with the exhaust system. The cost quoted was exhausting.I decided to try local, and took my car to Clayton Lube & Tube. Not only am I pleased with the services rendered, but satisfied with the cost. Thank you for a local safe place to take care of my car.Services: Exhaust
