Don't go at 8:00 pm .. you will not get any service . The sign read they close at 11:00 on but it needs to read they close at 8:00 . Because you have get your own groceries.. understandable .. I will do that anyways .. you might get somebody to ring you up, but she'll let you know she will not bag your food. And hope like heck you don't get a shopping cart full of food because it won't never happen.. you had one self check out open, and it had a line at it . So if you go to this food lion be prepared for very poor customer service

Its a hard review. They often dont have what you need. Im thinking bec HT and Publix gets priority but prices are better. Pharmacy is the best!

New to the area, went to food lion pharmacy in Clayton to fill my daughter's antibiotic prescription, I was the only customer, but waited while two others came after myself to pick-up. The first one asked if I was in line, she was at the pick up window. I said just to drop off, the pharmacist was tright there the entire time and never even acknowledged my presence. I left.

Had an ugly experience with the pharmacy tech this morning. Old woman with a permanent scowl (could tell even under mask) ask to give me a mask in a very condescending tone! After I refused her tone changed to borderline rudeness the point where she slid my medicine under their barrier without so much as a Thank You! Worst customer service I’ve had in in years!

NOT my cup of tea. Doesn't carry much Hispanic brands, so I only shop there if I'm in a hunt for something other supermarkets have ran out of. Its my last resort supermarket, but I dred going in.

The pharmacy will drive you crazy. Supposedly they text when prescriptions are ready but half the time they don't. My husband had a prescription caller in by a doctor June 1. By June 8, nothing. Another refill called in by doctor, 4 days later, nothing. I transferred everything they weren't working on to Harris teeter. I got a call from Harris teeter pharmacy to loop me in on how the transfer was going and they also told me food lion had the other prescriptions ready...for lion never contacted us. Find anybody else

I was in Food Lion on Friday October 11, 2019. As I was strolling down an isle I saw a manager in a red shirt. We made eye contact but the manager Mr. Nuckles never spoke. I made the comments, "hello Mr. Manager", he then said, did you find everything ok? I went down the next isle and a young man who was stocking groceries, actually stopped stocking, to ask if I was finding everything ok. Great job Food Lion on training your stock boys and cashiers, your managers not so much. Mr. Nuckles came up to me as I was leaving to apologize for his lack of common manners - said he had "a lot on his mind" the reason he didn't speak. WHAT? A lot on your mind. YOUR CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE NUMBER ONE ON YOUR MIND IN YOUR STORE!!! Mr. Nuckles, apology NOT accepted. Food Lion maybe a sensitivity training should be a part of your managers goals for 2020.
