The staff here is incredible. The most efficient place I have been for the service they are providing.

I have heard a lot of good and bad about this facility. Both my husband and I have been treated here for everything from a few stitches to a bout of afib. We have always been treated with care and respect. Never had a problem - gratefully, always a positive outcome. Thanks to the docs, nurses and techs who have never failed us.

I have taken my dad here twice, once for a serious fall and again after a sudden stroke. I have found the service providers to be very competent. His issues were life threatening, so he was treated promptly. Most of the service providers had good bed-side manners. A few were "all business" and weren't as friendly. But everyone treated us competently and with dignity and respect. The facilities are very nice and family friendly. Someone from my family stayed with dad 24/7. The rooms are large with 2 pieces of furniture that can be used as a bed. The couch is wonderful. A section in the middle can be raised to form a table or desk. It can also be easily formed into a bed. This is probably the most comfortable hospital I've experienced with my parents, and between my mom and dad, I've experienced a lot of hospital stays! Thanks so much to the staff and doctors for their great care for my dad!

If zero was possible... how the hell are you going to have me waiting 5 hours for 3 shots. I get it's a hospital but definitely isn't that busy for me to be waiting this damn long

My husband visited this ER on 12/3 presenting abdominal pain that he had already dealt with for months. They did blood work and CT and said they were not sure but could be pancreatitis which is what we thought. Helped him with pain and sent us on our way to follow up with specialist. Our specialist suggested to us that with his symptoms being so painful to return to ER. On 12/23, we had to return for same symptoms. They treated pain and told us to follow up with specialist. On 12/31, he returned and had blood work and Ct again and they treated pain and sent us on our way for the third time. He had to go back on 1/1 where they sat him in the waiting room for hours and because of how irrational he acted because he was suffering, they treated him as drug seeker making him wait in pain. He ended up leaving because of them not helping him in timely matter and went to Smithfield where he was admitted for acute on chronic pancreatitis, obstruction to the small intestine resulting in not being able to tolerate anything by mouth other than liquids, and a pseudoanuerism in the pancreas that was bleeding. We had to be sent to Duke Raleigh where they did procedure to stop bleeding through placing coils with catheter and then was placed on feeding tube to help the pancreas heal. Hopefully in a couple weeks we will see the obstruction has gotten smaller so he can get back to his normal life. He was in the hospital from 1/1 until 1/21. This is negligence. If someone had believed or taken time the prior visits, he may not have got to point that he is at. This whole ordeal has opened my eyes to the danger we are all in due to our healthcare system. We are thankful we finally were listened to but this all should have never ever happened and I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else.

Very disappointed in this hospital. We have been at the ER for five hours and still don't know anything. The person that took my husband's vitals was very rude. A NP has been in the room for a few minutes; no Doctor has been by, but I'm sure we'll be charged for one (or several). A person could literally die waiting to find out what is wrong with them. :(

I'm not a huge fan of the medical field so I dreaded having to take my husband to the er, especially during a pandemic. I visualized hours long wait in waiting room, exposed to who knows what, docs making time till their shift was over, etc. Imagine my surprise that he was greeted with compassion and friendliness, all covid sanitary procedures followed, little wait time and docs who were involved in listening to him, understanding of his pain, nurses who were cheerful, kind and professional. It was a fabulous experience. I wish other practices would take notes
