  We are absolutely THRILLED with our new carpet! Britani was well informed when she helped me choose a carpet best suited for our needs. We chose the LONDON FOG in a lower pile. The guys removed our old, ugly carpet, cleaned the subfloor, and moved our furniture for us. Even our adjustable king-size bed with no complaints! 😊 We had the entire upstairs done with 4 bedrooms, and they completed it in one day. It looks FANTASTIC! We honestly couldn't be happier! The ladies at the front desk are very kind as well. A friendly face is so important when visiting a business. Well done. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

  We were very happy with the service and help we were given here. The staff was helpful, kind and went out of their way to make sure we were very happy with our choices. We will be using special time effects flooring for our future renovations!

  Absolutely loved working with this company. Britni Baker was so great to work with, brainstorming ideas, and showing me examples. She was fast to respond to all my questions and even quicker to get me on the schedule! The guys came on time, they were quick, efficient, cleaned up, you couldn’t even tell I had work done in my house. The back splash came out beautifully. I could be more pleased.

  remodeling a home can be a very overwhelming experience but the staff at special effects made sure to make me feel comfortable and took the time to really help me with my selections! they are very knowledgeable and helpful in all areas. the tile work that they do is INCREDIBLE & the installers are hard working and very professional. we went in thinking we wanted an LVP product, the staff told us all the pros and cons and by the end of the appointment we had chosen a beautiful waterproof laminate flooring that my husband and i are in love with. We live in this home so we have all of our furniture in the house already and when the installers came out to install our new flooring they were respectful of our belongings and very careful with moving the furniture. We are soo very pleased with our updates we did with special effects - we would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone !!!

  If I could give zero stars I would! Special effects has been nothing but a total nightmare to deal with both during the building process of our house and with issues following the build. First off, the incorrect tile was installed for our master walk in tile shower. This was a mistake on the girl that wrote down our selection’s part. Thank goodness I took a picture of our selections that were dated and time stamped the day we went into special effects and picked them out. When they came back to rip out the incorrect tile and place the new they were extremely rude and disrespectful. Fast forward to 4 months later of being in our home and the tile shower starts leaking from the floor up and into the wall. It took 3 months for someone to come and look at it. When they finally did, their solution was caulking every corner and crevice to “fix” the problem instead of actually finding the leak they just placed a bandaid on it. We told them this was not acceptable. Caulk is not made to prevent leaks into the WALL. They also caulked the whole shower with a thick white that doesn’t match the floor tile or grout color. We asked them to come back out following this and Ben came and left after less than five minutes “before he lost his temper” on my husband who was simply questioning the durability and work and then never truly finding or investigating the cause of the leak. He was also supposed to look at a place in the flooring that is cracked and messed up that they installed but due to his “temper” he did not even do that prior to leaving. Once again extremely rude and unprofessional. We got two other professional tile companies in the area to come out and both said the issue goes beyond something that caulk is intended to fix. The trim work around the shower is also a joke and looks terrible!! Stay FAR AWAY from this place.

  If I could leave them zero stars I would. My builder used them for the flooring in our house so when I put in a warranty request my builder had them reach out. They were prompt getting back to me on it, however they came out on a Thursday, ripped the flooring in the living room up, fixed the issue, and said they would be back the next morning to put it back down. As of closing time Friday, they have not shown up and have not reached out so I suppose I’ll be going all weekend with a living room that can’t be used. So I’d like to say thank you, special effects flooring, thank you very much for that.

  I used these guys before COVID happened and they were really reasonable price wise and I was really happy with their work. I don't know what's happened but we came to look at flooring to have them do another job, and with the pricing the girl told us, they are charging like a massive up charge on flooring prices. Flooring that's $1.60 sq/ft in a store, she told me they are charging over $9 sq/ft. I don't know what's up with that but that's a bit ridiculous.

  Our contractor referred us to Special Effects to upgrade the worn out/original contractor grade carpeting in our home. With Brittany's help we selected the carpet. Initially we were told a 2day installation. Ron & his crew knocked out the install in one day - upstairs and down. Nowadays it is extremely difficult to find good, professional tradesmen that take pride in their craft. It was a pleasure to work with Brittany as well as Ron's crew. The only reason there is a 5 star grade is that there was not any more stars. We'd recommend Special Effects to anyone. Thank you.

  Great Experience. Contracted a painting company to paint my home. They did some pretty severe damage to my floors. To make matters worse they were very rude and dishonest about the incident. Called Special Effects to have them repair their damge. Lexi was super polite and communicative. She had her team out here in no time. The crew was professional and did an awesome job. Floors literally look brand new. To top it off, despite my worst fears, the price was extremely reasonable. By just doing their job like its meant to be done they turned a miserable situation around for me and I couldn't be happier. Thanks team!
