Love this Walgreens. Store is organized, staff is kind. I also do have a health condition, so there have been many of ER visits late at night or random early early morning needs for Gatorade to rehydrate or ibuprofen to bring down fevers (and other random necessities). It's extremely helpful that it's open 24 hours a day, and that no matter what time you're there you're greeted with polite staff. The only reason I won't give 5 stars is because they have two lanes for pharmacy drive up needs and only ever use the one. The wait can be kinda long at rush hour times.

For the 12 years I have lived in Clayton, I’m beyond pissed with Walgreens. The FACT my SON needs his medicine and I have to pocket out more money because your system is down with GoodRX??? Are you serious???? Why should that be my problem?? Then I get that response back “may be fixed in a couple of hours, tonight or tomorrow”. I have already stopped using you for my type 1 diabetic daughter because nothing is ever in stock that keeps her alive. Your 2 star average review is so far generous.

I really would leave a 0 if able, let's just start there. I have been a loyal patient of The Walgreen's pharmacy for some time now, but I have definitely switched pharmacies due to one reason. STAFF. I have had a terrible experience not once but twice, with the same young lady DEVEN. Not only is she completely unprofessional but Rude and just nasty to people. I work in the Healthcare care field, so haveing patience and empathy is key! How she continues to be disrespectful and gets away with me is disbelief. She clearly demonstrats how much she hates her job and hates being there. IT SHOWS. I'm sure this review will be left unanswered as usual but hopefully with my review DEVEN will be taught how to have compassion and empathy when working with the public, otherwise she should just go work a McDonald's and sit down somewhere and correct her nasty attitude.

Went to urgent care, tested positive for strep. They sent over my prescription and i came over right away. They said it would be 30 minutes to an hr and that was no big deal. What aggravated me was the lady at the drive thru window when i came back an hr and 10 minutes later said that it would be 3 hrs and there was no guarantee that they could fill it because there was only 1 person filling prescriptions. Thats not my problem. Now i have to wait and additional 12 hrs to get my medicine filled with the strep bacteria festering in my throat. Im irate about this. They act like it doesnt matter. That is just terrible customer service!!!!!! They need to hire some new ppl urgently. People get sick all the time. I would much rather deal with walmarts pharmacy to whom i absolutely despise then deal with them again!

This location is by far the best. I have lived in 3 different states and this location exceeds them all. I had the pleasure of meeting Gladys and Andrew this evening. Their customer service was not just friendly, they made me feel like family in such a short period of time. That’s extremely difficult to do. I know my statement is cheesy but it’s true. Thank you again Gladys and Andrew.

Walgreens should really look into the pharmacy here. They are slow, unprepared and cause such an inconvenience to customers who rely on medication. It’s totally unacceptable.

Worst pharmacy EVER! Find another caring and efficient pharmacy to get your meds. Poor staff and customer service, I keep trying to give them chances but this is it. I placed a delivery order and only 1 prescription is showing for delivery so I called earlier and was told they would send me a link to add the additional 5 prescriptions for my 81 yr old mother and I never received it. I then got notification my delivery was being picked up with still only the 1 prescription. Called the delivery driver while she was at the store and she let me speak with pharmacist or clerk and was told they wouldn’t add them. Why would I have 1 prescription delivered when I usually have 15 or more prescriptions. The last time they gave me half a prescription and told me to come back the next day for the rest, when I came back the next day picked up about 4 prescriptions only to walk out and discover the one they were to give me the remaining prescription for was not even in the bag. I had already been in line for 20 mins and when I went back in I was told I could wait for it & that wait was another 45 minutes. I have other examples but what’s the use, horrible pharmacy!

I visit this Walgreen’s photo center several times per month to print photos for my small business.Walgreen’s’ same-day photo service is unmatched. If you have the app, it’s as easy as uploading a photo from your phone’s camera roll and picking it up an hour (or less) later. No matter what is going on in the store, I never have to wait long for good service from friendly employees. Highly recommend this service.

Fast service. Ordered online. Order was ready. Went in to pick up. Waited no more than 30 seconds. In and out. Store was pretty busy.

Really nice group of people but understaffed - the volume is so high that mistakes are common in my experience. This time I am so ill with a fever and flu, at the end of the window for when Tamilfu will be effective and I have so far spent 3 hours trying to get a simple prescription. Driven to Walgreens twice and am now on with insurance for 45 minutes while they try to get the pharmacy to straighten out their error. According to my insurance, the pharmacy submitted my claim twice and so it is being denied as already being filled. I have had similar problems in the past but this time it is very clearly a Walgreens issue. I believe the staff is conscientious. I just think the volume is so high, they have to rush to get the job done.

Terrible customer service! They don’t talk to you like a Person. Some folks do not need to be in the Customer Service business.

Go somewhere else. ANYWHERE ELSE! It took me 3 tries to get my husbands antibiotic that urgent care sent over. The first time they said they didn't have it so urgent care sent again. The second time they said they didn't have it and so urgent care called to verify it was received. The third time I went through the drive-through at around 12:45pm EST on 12/07/2023 and encountered a very rude woman that said his insurance wasn't on file and that I needed to pull around or come in because insurance rebills take a while. I went in, presented the information and was out the door in less than 3 mins. The person working the counter was polite and I had absolutely no issues. Aside from the delightful woman at the counter this Walgreens is horrendous. We avoid it if possible at all cost. Too bad it's the only one in Clayton, NC. I have moved all of our other meds to mail order due to our experiences here.

Walgreens changes suppliers of medicines based on price. Each time they change suppliers, which seems to happen every couple of months, the appearance of the pill changes. As a result, you get used to the appearance of your pills changing frequently. One month, the medicine is a large white round pill. The next month, the medicine is a blue triangular pill. The next month, the medicine is a green round pill. After a few months of these changes, when walgreens makes a mistake and gives you the wrong medicine, you are unlikely to catch the problem, cause you will think that walgreens changed suppliers again. This is extremely dangerous , because walgreens works the crap out of their workers and overworked workers are going to make mistakes. A new wrinkle - a pharmacist told me that walgreens policy is to never fill a prescription early. This means you will have to run out of medicine before they will refill a prescription. Further, you get ripped off on prices if you buy anything in the store. Their prices on everything is ridiculous. For example, they sell small container of haagen-daaz for 5.99, which is 50% more than walmart sells it. If you buy ANYTHING at walgreens, you pay too much! Today, the pharmacist decided that she was not going to fill one of my prescriptions. I am moving my prescriptions. I have had enough of Walgreen crap.
