This is a very small taqueria/Mexican grill with a rather varied menu with few surprises but loaded with taste, so typical of the hole-in-the-wall places we search for continuously! Some housekeeping items: They open at 10AM (I approve of this), there is no table service, but your order will be brought to you if you are eating in, there is a nice salsa/condiment bar with a great version of Crudito (I also approve of this), the older gentleman who takes the orders will make sure you get what you want - Whew, that wore me out! I ordered Huevos Rancheros, Estiallados style - meaning the eggs are not scrambled or as the term Revueltas means, broken! The eggs, there were 3 of them, were cooked poached style rather than fried, and though they were cooked to the point where the yolks were a bit firm, the overall taste was good. The ranchero sauce was a bit different from the more traditional versions in that there was little tomato present, but there was plenty of sliced onions and a nice heat level! The sauce was layered over several tortillas which lacked any crispness that is normally seen. Overall the dish was very good even though not the most authentic I've tried in the area! The platter also contained refried beans and typical Mexican style rice, both of which were very good. Additional tortillas were included as well, bring the total to 5. The great, friendly service and the quality of the food will bring me back to try more items l. Ambiance - 3 Food - 4.5 Service - 5 Value - 4 ($10.99 for the dish)

Worst food I've ever eaten. I had the tacos and the ground steak was swimming in grease/oil. Only onions and cilantro came on the tacos. I didn't care for the taco sauces. I got sick later that night. My boyfriend didn't and we ate the same thing so I think it was all the oil mostly that didn't sit well on my stomach. This made me not want to try any 'authentic Mexican' food again if this is what it's like. It was disgusting to me.

This was a great, authentic find for my favorite Mexican dish; Sopes!! The food was filling, tasty and quick. The tortas was also stellar. I’ve not enjoyed chips and salsa as much as I did on my trip in ages. It’s slightly pricier than I’d love($30 for two entrees and chips and salsa with water) but what isn’t these days? We had the restaurant to ourselves and it’s a small space so this was nice but the loud news on tv was why I docked a star for atmosphere.Parking: Not a lot of spots if you go on a busy day.

Very upset just left this place. Placed an order for tostadas with steak. I get home and it’s tostadas with ground beef. The oil from the ground beef is dried on the styrofoam. I called the lady and said hey you gave me the wrong order and was like yeah I’m sorry I chopped up the steak too much I’m like no it is ground beef not steak. They lost my business

While on a very busy street you can smell you've arrived at the right place. I was looking for breakfast in between jobs. I'm a fan of huevos rancheros so I hopped on yelp and El Taquito was the first option. I'm glad I took the few moments I had to try it out. While it's on a very busy rd and shopping area the restaurant seemed to slow all of that down once you enter. The service was delightful and funny. I received great recommendations and substitutions. I went with the chorizo omelette and it was amazing. The omelette was massive and filled with real chorizo. The beans were so authentic and secretly stole the meal for me. The rice was great while at bit hard still amazing. The owners were very friendly and joked with me as I placed my order. Don't judge the picture lol I was driving and the plate slid. Definitely stop by and thank me later there's a bean and salsa bar I'm looking forward to trying next time.

I ordered a chicken tostada, My kids got tacos de carne asada. We all ordered horchata for drinks and the kids got churros. The churros are probably the best I have ever had! All the food we ordered was very good! Do not expect it to be like a chain Restaurant because it's not. It is very authentic. This is topically what you see and get from a True Authentic Mexican Restaurant.

I absolutely love this place! The woman is so nice and friendly! The food is delicious. My only complaint is that it's HOT inside. But that's OK, because the food and staff make up for it. We are so happy we found this place!
