Lady checking me out today didn’t even say a word. I said hi, no response back, I said thank you, no response. Very strange and unwelcoming. 3 stars since she’s just one employee in the whole store and I hope the others are friendlier.

I have always had such a good experience at this Walgreens. Everyone here is always extremely cordial, prompt, and helpful. Compared to many other Walgreens, this is the best around in my opinion. I drive an hour out of my way just to come to this particular location.

I want to warn people NOT to get prescriptions from the Walgreens on River Ridge Drive in Clemmons,NC. Their pharmacy department are a bunch of idiots who do not care about the customers. I had to go there twice today to get my meds. The first time they told me their internet was down so they couldn't give me my prescription. The stupid girl was holding it in her hand and I had cash - are you kidding me?!! I can't wait to get on Medicare so I don't have to deal with them anymore. The only reason I was getting meds there is because they are unfortunately the only pharmacy in NC that accepts Tricare! One time I was there and they asked for my driver's license (drive-thru) and they did NOT return it - by the time I realized it I had to make a special trip back to get it. I will never shop there again - and you can't buy liquor there either without your driver's license getting scanned - even if you're 80 years old! I wish they would go out of business.

Will never shop this Walgreens ever again. The staff just walk around mindless like they're confused, and I'm guessing the manager must have been having a bad day. Still that's no excuse to be rude and have a bad attitude towards a paying customer that's just looking for some assistance. I went in there in pretty good spirits, and when I left I felt almost as miserable as the people working there acted. If you work hard for your money, save yourself some frustration and shop somewhere else. Your business is not appreciated here.

I want to give a great shout out to the pharmacist DORA that is employed by the Walgreens Pharmacy @ Arden Farms, Clemmons NC. She demonstrated excellence that I have consistently received from the Walgreens Pharmacy at this location. I have a controlled item that is prescribed to me, and have been prescribed for the last 10 years. This item is a subcutaneous injectable, and I am required to have this item injected on a weekly basis. For anyone not familiar with the term, subcutaneous means 'below skin level'.The syringe that I had purchased from this Walgreens was constructed incorrectly, and the 'plunger' had unfortunately disconnected from the 'rubber stopper'. For anyone interested in the parts of a modern syringe, please refer to this website for a detailed schematic diagram kmedhealth.com/what-is-a….I apologize for the elaborate description of the problem that I was unfortunately placed on me. Here's the bottom line: I needed a new syringe for my critical controlled-medication. The pharmacy technician, Kristen, had to be the rudest individual that I have had to deal with in my entire life. After clearly explaining all the details, her snide reply was "we can't help you!". I told her, that I have this prescription filled at this store for the last 5 and a half years. I requested that she look at her computer. Reluctantly, Kristen looked at the Walgreens computer. She tells me "There's no prescription for the syringes. I told her that when I have the prescription filled that they, another pharmacy tech, would ask if I need any syringes to fill this order. I clearly advised her that Doctors in North Carolina do NOT send special prescriptions for the syringes. Again, I was given a resolve of "we can't help you!". I did calmly advise that I really feel uncomfortable telling anyone how to do there job, but there is no way of applying my prescription without syringes. My last 'attempt' at resolving this issue was that advising Miss Kristen that in the past, the technicians would MATCH the syringe to the items in the inventory stock area where they would have the syringes at. Again, I was shouted at "we can't help you!".Finally, and by an act of God, Pharmacist Dora came over and assisted me with expediated and professional service. She took my syringe and found the matching inventory item. While is was standing at the counter, the before-mentioned Kristen was just staring at me with this angry scowl of a facial expression. I personally don't care to be stared at. So I asked Kristen "do you need to tell me something?" All she kept doing was staring at me, with the same angry facial expression. After Dora arrived back at the counter, I said thank you to her for all her help and I also mentioned that "I'm sure that was a real hard task that you accomplished". I did ask to speak to the store manager, and advised her of the incredibly rude experience that I was forced to endure at the pharmacy counter. The manager advised me that the technicians "can't look at inventory. " I did ask that perhaps in the future that Kristen be either customer-service trained, or found another position within the Walgreens corporation where customer service and interaction is not of the highest importance.I have numerous times where I had to pick up items at this Walgreens, and other Walgreens across this country. I have had nothing but positive interactions with the Walgreens staff. I do feel bad that this post was made, as this negatively reflects on hard-working professionals in the pharmacy industry that care for their customers, and their heath. To any and all that this statement applies to, my sincere apologies and please keep up the great work.If you ever in the situation that you will be interacting with Walgreens at this location, I do pray that you don't have to 'deal' with this unprofessional and immature individual, Kristen.Thank You
