$65 to mail one envelope. Are you kidding me?
My father went to the Clinton, NC Post Office yesterday to send a simple envelope to me in Tunisia. Inside: my driver’s license and a tiny Apple AirTag. That’s it. They charged him $65.
Meanwhile, the Raleigh Post Office sent me the exact same kind of envelope for $4.50 just a few weeks ago. It arrived in 6 days, no drama, no “security tag” excuses.
The Clinton clerk insisted the AirTag made it cost more because it’s a “security tag.” That’s absurd. AirTags are literally made to travel with letters, luggage, and boxes. Every airline in the world knows that — apparently, this post office didn’t get the memo.
This kind of overcharging and misinformation is what drives people away from USPS. It’s unfair, it’s dishonest, and it’s an insult to customers just trying to mail their own property.
I want a full investigation and refund. Until then, we’ll drive an hour to Raleigh where honesty still costs less than $65.00.

They are the absolute worst delivery service in town bar none. So sad they are the ones representing our country. Out of shear laziness they REFUSE to deliver anything if they can't just stick it in the mailbox. My house is down a gravel road (a good one not full of holes) and because they have the cop out they choose to take it EVERY TIME. If I am receiving a package and I see it's coming from USPS I know I have to add at least 2 extra days to the delivery time and ultimately I'm just going to have to get it from the post office. Just sad. No accountability when I mention that I'm annoyed when I have to pick up something the people in the office are always rude and retaliatory making me wait longer ect.

Went in to print off a label to send my package with, and although there was a line, I was in and out in 5 minutes or less. The lady that helped me was very polite, and she even offered to tape my package better to hold it together more securely.

I went to ask them about moving the mailbox so my 90 year old father that uses a cane to walk around doesn't have to walk to the road to get the mail I have what is call a half moon driveway the the mailman can drive up to and not have to get out of his/her vehicle the lady was rude I can't remember her name but she said no without listening to me and showing her where the driveway is and where the mailbox was going to be I wonder if there is someone else that I could talk to I've seen a few houses in my area that doesn't have the kind of driveway I have but get their mail delivered to their doorsteps it's completely unfair for my father

Viconte helped me today, and she was so nice and friendly. I needed help closing up the box I was sending yo my son. She was so helpful and knowledgeable. I haven't been in the post office in a long time, but dealing with Viconte made it a pleasurable experience.

If I could write a review and give zero stars I would, they are the worst, we have had them throw packages, drive thru our yard, found mail in the ditch, and today claim there wasn’t a secure place to put the package and we have plenty of places for it. I called and the response I got from a women at Clinton USPS was they were scared to deliver because we complain too much and they couldn’t drive in the yard. We have a whole concrete paved driveway they can drive in get out sit the package on any of the two porches we have side or front and then get in the car and back right out the same paved driveway. I am tired of the excuses and blame!! They need some better employees and better mannerisms at the post office in Clinton!

This is one raggedy, unprofessional post office. The workers are rude, have excessively low IQ's and most big mouths who hate their jobs. Typical idiotic, worthless Clintoner's who are worthless in every meaning of the word. And if they aren't delivering mail to the wrong addresses they're losing it and blaming it on someone else.

After a few hiccups when first moving to town, I have to say the ladies in this post office are more friendly and helpful than any other post office I’ve been to, which has been quite a few being military and moving often. The USPS in general has issues with packages and mail sometimes but it’s helpful when your local post office works to address these issues. This has been my personal experience with the Clinton post office. The ladies at this location have been very helpful!

Post office refuses to deliver packages down a dirt road and instructed us to use the post office address with box included in the address for packages that cannot be delivered to a post office box or the physical home address. Which by the way, Fed Ex and UPS have no issues delivering to the front porch. Every single time this happens tracking shows packages were delivered and ready for pick up at the post office yet the workers at the post office claim they haven’t gotten to place the package slips in the P.O. Box and come back the next day. These are packages that are already marked delivered and have been paid for two day shipping. This needs to be corrected. It’s not fair to the customer whose paid for faster shipping and then for the customer to wait another two days after the package is sitting at the post office because the workers do not want to locate the package from the back.

I have place two items at this post office and both items was not delivered. The first package was place in the outdoor mailed box located at the post office. It never was delivered to new york. The second package was insured for a two day delivery to new york and I paid 163 dollars for a two days express. Now I cannot get my money back. Someone said I have to wait 30 days until I will be able to get my refund. This is not acceptable the post office is supposed to stand behind their word.
