I went and picked out two shirts before heading to checkout. I want to the checkout close to the section where you re-enter the mall because I wanted to continue shopping. There were three employees standing there chatting who yelled over to me, "Not this way, you gotta go to the back". Look to the back of the store, and there is a line well over 50ft long. I look back at these three employees standing by the entrance chatting (10ft from a few registers) and said, "Nevermind". I placed the shirts down and walked out. I get you have security issues with people stealing, but you don't even have the customer service skills to open extra registers. No one wants to wait in a line for an hour. Stop chatting, and open an extra register. They made registers in the front of the building and the back for a reason.

only 2 registers open for 4pm Saturday really? I’m still in line after waiting 1 hour+ to check out. do anyone from corporate care about it or not? people just fed up standing and waiting and left without buying anything. hope they do something, if not they are done here. i’ll never shop here at concord mall burlington and would not recommend anyone.

Check out line at Burlington of @ConcordMillsNC is insane. The entire checkout before entering the mall is closed out. Only checkout at rear by parking lot doors.

Messy, yes. But what I was searching for I found. Cashier was sweet. It's bizarre to have a person at front door opening a rope to "admit" you, must be a lot of theft at store, I summized. How do that once store is at busy times with that? Will return tho.

Great prices, good variety. Register line was ridiculously long with only 3 registers open. Waited in line over 30 minutes.

I would like to know why customers are treated so badly at your store, The Burlington coat factory at Concord mills Mall, Charlotte. NC?
Today, was Black Friday sale , as you can imagine I had to wait in the line for a very long time like over an hour to check out of item. I did so patiently like every one else.And when I reached the counter a young employee asked me to come up to register 1 that had no light on,if I wanted to check out with a credit card. I went over, and he rung the item to $ 18 and some cents and I used my credit card to pay, the transaction processed and the card machine asked me to remove the card and I hit yes to authorize the payment. At the same moment a lady employee who I assume is the manager came over and very rudely opened the cash register and spoke to the the young man very rudely,while my item was bagged and I was waiting for the receipt. She closed the register and left and the young employee struggled with the register saying the door was jammed the machine was not recognizing it so the print out was not coming up. He did not know what to do, so I requested him to call the other lady employee back. She came back and he explained the situation and she asked him if I paid , he just did not answer, she asked him again if I paid cash and then he said I paid by card. Then she says ring my item up again because I did not pay, and reboots the computer, so I called my husband who gets a notification evey time I swipe the card and right there it showed Burlington coat factory pending $18 and some change. So I called the lady back she refused to come and another lady came and she just asked me to pay again? So basically $18×2? .I asked her if can she give me the item and email the bill to me? Nothing. She has now kept the item, pending my credit card processing which clearly shows in my husband's notifications that its processing. I told her Iv stood in the line and we drove up from afar to shop there. Nothing. She just kept the item that I paid for with my credit card and told us to come back again . My husband requested at least write a note about what happened so we will have some thing up show when we come again and she did.
Here is my question why did the lady employee interrupt the young man when he was finishing up with a customer?
Secondly, I just stood there while she did what she wanted with the cash register for a while, AFTER having stood in the line for over an hour. And she jammed that computer by doing what she did and now I have to not only go back all the way again to collect my one item pending credit card processing. Why could she not wait till the young employee handed me the print out? And put the customer first? Hey whole mannerism was very unfriendly?
Thirdly, what kind of customer service is this?
Very very very very very disappointed, very disappointed, Our black Friday shopping was going so so well till we stepped into Burlington and had such a drawn out and bad experience. AFTER waiting in the line for one hour with my young children. Very disappointed, and it just upset our whole evening.
Now we wait for the credit card to be processed and then we have to go back to collect that one item.
But what about the time I wasted in the line which went for nothing because the employees care nothing for a customer because obviously their work with the register comes first rather than the customer paying at the register, i was just waiting for the print out the item was in the bag?
And I left the store AFTER paying for the item WITHOUT the item? Just because your employees could not ring up the item i waited for so patiently? DISSAPOINTED!

Large store, and OK selection but a line of 20-30 people waiting to pay, and one cashier. My wife and at least one other person, left the line, put their clothes back, and left the store. Profits certainly lost here by not having the required staff. Will not return.
