My sister just got out of the hospital and we went to Walgreens to pick up her prescriptions. While waiting on a long drive through line in excess of 35 minutes we called the pharmacist to make sure that she had the prescriptions and we were told by the pharmacist Trang via telephone that she only had one prescription and it would be 90 minutes before it would be ready. Even with her unclear accent and her choppy rendition of the English language her cold and unsympathetic words were loud so very rude. We called the nurse at the hospital to let him know that only one prescriptions was was received; the nurse immediately called Walgreens and spoke with the pharmacist (Trang) who was described as having a thick accent and was Very-Very rude and gave him a hard time about the prescription. Once we finally made it to the drive through window the pharmacist (Trang) denied speaking with the nurse and never inputted the prescription. My sister was doubled over in pain and her only saving grace was Kesha (the pharmaceutical tech) who went above and beyond to help find and fill the prescription that Trang the pharmacist chose to ignore and dismiss! Kesha spoke with the nurse and was able to fill the prescription in minutes. The job of a pharmacist is a crucial and much needed job, and for a Head Pharmacist to blatantly dismiss and deny a sick persons medication to aid in their recovery is terrible, but to be rude and dismissive to a medical professional who is concerned for a sick patient recovery is discussing! We often use this pharmacy and we can always expect to receive unprofessional, rude service, with a dismissive attitude from Pharmacist Trang. Customers deserve better service than the subpar service Pharmacist Trang is giving! The only reason I gave two stars for this review is because of Keshas professionalism, caring ways and her willingness to always help everyone.
