The guys at the Hertz on Concord Pkwy. are amazing. John and JB (I think) were so nice and after my insurance adjuster and myself had a bad interaction with enterprise they came to the rescue. Despite being insanely busy they were polite, professional, friendly, and helpful. I rented a Malibu which I drove for 10 days with no issues at all. It was clean, had gas, and smelled good. I really just wanted to say thank you!?????

If I could give this place “0” believe me it would have it. The rudest customer service unless you are there color. Also please be advised if don’t have a major credit card you do not get to rent from them… false advertisement!!

It's great when your vehicle is in stock. Last visit, I had a vehicle reserved for over a month, and they still did not have one for me. Was forced to upgrade to something I didn't want. Support was no help as they refused to refund the difference.

Made a reservation well in advance but on the day of rental the staff said they ran out of cars. Ridiculous. Hertz need to streamline the communications and update in advance before making the trip to their office if there is no car.

Waste of time. Generally I rent with Enterprise however Hertz rates were much cheaper so I decided to give them a try. When checking in I was informed they didn't except reservations from third parties (expedia) and didn't have anything available - ridiculous!! Drove 3 minutes up the road to Enterprise and was out the door in 5 minutes rate was a bit higher $20 dollar difference but completely worth it.

If I could give them negative starts I would. I attempted to rent a Tesla that was unavailable—no big deal. I accepted an Altima instead. The check engine light and the oil change needed light came on as soon as I got on the interstate. I called them directly, and the young man who answered the phone was unwilling to provide any real assistance when I asked how I should proceed with the rental.Upon returning the vehicle, I filled the tank up and left proof of purchase in the cupHolder. I was randomly charged $125 for not filling the tank up. This prompted me to check the charges of my previous rental. I discovered I was also charged am “upgrade” fee because the car that I prepaid was unavailable. Luckily I was able to contact corporate to get a refund for both charges since they agreed I was not at fault. Save yourself a headache—go to another hertz and work with more trustworthy people. Even if you prepay weeks/months in advance, they will look for any reason to scam you at this location.

Booked a car in advance for a week. Received a call the day of saying they didn’t have the car I booked available so they booked me with an upgraded durango. I go to pick up the Durango that’s sitting outside and the man said he didn’t have me in the system. Didn’t have any cars available but they took my money. I called the number who called me because he acted like it wasn’t his location and he picked up the phone right in my face and still acted as if he didn’t know what I was speaking about. Long story short he gave me the number to customer service to get my money back instead of letting me get the Durango I had booked. Horrible service and bad for business at this location.

The manager John, is always pleasant and helpful. He had a staff that exemplifies great customer service, that comes from the leadership ( John ) at that location.

Worst experience ever! If I could give less than 1 star I would! It started with not having the rental class I reserved although I had reserved it over a month ago. Once I got there. I waited over an hour for them while they had “system issues” while they assisted 2 other customers which put me behind on my travel plans. When I got home my son noticed on of the seats in the van was “missing”. Mind you they took pictures and “checked the car” in the hour I sat there. My son finally figured out how to “fix” the seat. After all of that to get on the road, you would think the rest of trip whole go smooth from there. Instead I am sitting stranded in Atlanta because the rental car would not start this morning! I was told by the roadside driver that the battery is no good and the car should never had been rented in this condition! On top of all of this, I have to get a Lyft to get to the airport to get a new rental car on my vacation interrupting my plans instead of them making it easier for me and replacing my car! What a horrible experience! Will never go back to this location and seriously will think again before using Hertz period.

Reserved a Tesla for a road trip, guaranteed to be there, but it wasn’t at the end. After a few hours waiting, they still couldn’t get the car for us and we had to cancel the reservation and make a new one at the airport where they had a Tesla available . It is however much more expensive at the airport because of the fees, hertz wouldn’t honor the initial rate we had; disappointing!

Overall process of renting the vehicle was a 5 out of 5. The associates helping on 10/6/23 were friendly.Only reason I docked a star is that the vehicle was not fully charged. Getting a regular vehicle with half a tank, and taking 5 mins to put in gas, is so very different than getting an electric vehicle that is just at 50%, especially when you are going a long distance.I was very disappointed as there are several fast charge stations within 3 to 8 miles of the rental location, and it would’ve only taken about 45 minutes for them to charge it.However, because I received the vehicle and was going over 300 miles, I had to stop to fully charge so I could reach the halfway point of my trip to recharge again .I spent over an hour extra in travel than expected because of this.All else aside, it was a great suv, and the process was easy.

We went into concord airport with a reservation with hertz. We are hertz gold. Imagine our surprise when we arrived with our confirmation number in hand and we’re told No Car!! Why reserve and confirm if you have no cars?? What the hell? Thank God some random dude at the Airport gave us a ride to our hotel. Taking our business elsewhere:(
