Came to this location 2x within the last month. I have a puppy less than 3 months old. Per the website puppies 8 weeks through 3 months can get groomed without vaccinations. They refused to do a sanitary trim stating the dog needed rabies shots first, which is incorrect per website. I reached out to another location and they said I was given incorrect information and as long as the puppy was less than 4 months old they could have done the services. Needless to say I will take the drive and book at that location moving forward. I could have gotten her services before her shots yesterday, now I have to wait. I expressed concerns to the staff and vet since she was matted, and hair was sticking together by my dog’s eyes. Better training on grooming policies is needed.

Tried to buy 29 Cent goldfish and was denied by Sidney. We should really teach people how to just sell the product they are being paid to sell instead of worrying about what I’m going to do with my fish.

This store is a freaking JOKE!!!
Went in today, 12/26/24 around 3pm to check out Hamsters for my daughter. She found one she liked and asked for assistance to purchase it. NOPE, I was questioned What size cage do I have, Does it have tunnels, Is it metal, and she refused to box it up because I didn't have a 40 gallon fish tank because it needs space. She went and got the manager after she had a little huddle with all the front end employees (staring over at us) than takes the manger to the breeze way to run it over with her before walking to me. The manager refused to sell to me as well since my cage wasn't what it needed to be even though I had almost the same cage that was sitting right beside the tank the hamster was in.
How can you refuse to sell me something when I came into the store to buy? How can you refuse to sell to me when you advertise METAL CAGES that you are saying the hamsters shouldn't be in? Also the tubes and balls you said would harm them, yet you sell as well.

We had a very disappointing experience with Morgan canceling our dog’s grooming appointment without notifying us. We scheduled an appointment on Saturday for Sunday at 9 AM and even received an email confirmation. After driving 20 minutes to the location on Sunday morning, we found out that our appointment had been canceled.
When we asked for clarification, we were told that Morgan had canceled the appointment the day before at 5:30 PM, but no one contacted us to inform us about it. To make matters worse, they couldn’t offer any solutions or alternatives while we were already there. This lack of communication and customer service was incredibly frustrating, and we wouldn’t recommend relying on them for dependable service.

My family and I have been coming to this PetSmart since before I was even a teenager, so I don’t give this low rating lightly. This store has been going downhill recently though. Firstly, the stock is not well kept up with. For example, they have been out of various varieties of veterinary prescription diets for weeks now. Prescription diets aren’t prescribed for funsies, people’s pets need them, and to not restock them for weeks on end is not okay. There isn’t a shortage of these particular items, other stores have them in abundance, so it’s purely negligence in stock keeping. It’s extremely inconvenient to have to order this online, where you have to buy in bulk, and it’s also inconvenient to have to drive to much further away stores to purchase it. Prescription diets are far from the only poorly stocked item, but they are the most recent example.
Additionally, this store will pick and choose on whether or not they will honor price matching. They will only price match from a few select online retailers (varying on the cashier-of-the-day’s whims), sometimes not even including their own company website.
Banfield front desk staff at this location are also exceptionally rude and flippant, which is a very poor reflection on both the VetMed industry and the PetSmart/Banfield brand as a whole.
I hope that you can take constructive criticism from this review and rectify these issues soon.

Went in to buy a pet and had to the worst experience. I don’t wanna assume it was racially motivated but when did a sales associate have the right to deny a sale like they own the animals in the store. I will take my business elsewhere.

Booked appointment online for a 1230pm slot that the Vet had and while getting ready for the appointment I get a call saying I missed my 1030am. I tell Beth that my appointment is at 1230 not 1030 and she gave me all my pets information back and said yea you missed it would you like to come at 230? I excepted the 230 but later check for confirmation email that says 1230 and when I call back I get attitude then asked “well what do you wants us to do about?” Very unprofessional and rude saying it was there lunch and I could drop her off until they could get to her.

I had booked my dogs grooming a few weeks in advance because I was traveling. The plan was to drop off my dogs after returning from my travels, so the appointment was booked at a time that I knew 100% that I was available to drop off the dogs. I received a phone call less than 24 hours before my dogs grooming appointment to confirm, to which I did confirm verbally over the phone. The following day, the grooming salon proceeded to call me not once, not twice, but three times telling me that they had morning cancellations and for me to bring in my dog early.... This was after I confirmed with a groomer that I would be in at my appointment time. I couldn't come in early or pick up the phone calls while on the airplane, but I heard all three voicemails they left. Not even two hours before my appointment, I received an email saying my appointments have been canceled. This is absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable considering the dogs had two different groomers, and it definitely feels like it was retaliation because I could not bring in my dogs early like they had wanted me to after spamming me with phone calls AND voicemails about bringing them in early. Save your time and money, go to Pet Supply Plus for grooming.

This review is towards the grooming salon, I took my dog up there and he came back with mud still on his leg, he was still wet and I'm not talking about damp. He was terrified when I got him back he was not even there a hour before I had to come back and get him, they did not even give him a bath they pretty much just sprayed him with something to make him smell like he had had a bath. So don't recommend petcos grooming salon on Bayfield parkway
