Extremely disappointed with every aspect of renting a storage unit at this location.. upon moving into a new property and preparing to clear out the unit
We discovered a majority of our belongings were mold and mildew damaged.. we had a moving company and a uhaul scheduled for 12/20.. we asked that someone from Public Storage meet us at our unit on Friday 12/19 to view the mold damaged belongings..no one showed, nor did they answer repeated phone calls and voicemails.. we rescheduled the movers until we could arrange a representative to inspect the storage unit.. . the next week I was contacted and guaranteed someone would meet us at the unit at 930am.. again, numerous calls went unanswered.. finally the storage unit employee reached out at nearly 11am.. she took a look at the damaged items with little to no real concern or explanation how a “climate controlled “ storage facility would reek havoc on a majority of items stored.. This business provides one service, storage.. be mindful of mold damage and be prepared for rent to increase over time..
The insurance your forced to buy will NOT cover mold damages.. they cover a max $250, after a $100 deductible (more money in their pocket).. it’s beyond insulting that I’m out 1000s of dollars in belongings, some very sentimental furniture, I gave public storage thousands of dollars to “store” my possessions and the insurance company walks away richer..
The dumpster available at the storage unit is on lock down.. Upon closing my account, they expected me to spend more time, effort and finances clearing out all the mold damaged items left in the storage unit.. because apparently the dumpster isn’t available for paying customers …

Public Storage is a bad company run by AI and Robots there are rarely people there to assist you, they ratchet up the cost of the storage once you move in and provide little to no service other than chat bots. I will never ever use them again.
