Recently moved down here and was looking at churches within the area, went to freedom house first because it was a tad closer but that church felt like everyone was forcing kindness and it was more of a production and music show than anything. And it didn’t feel like a church atmosphere especially with the word. Went to Cabarrus two weeks ago and it was perfect. Everyone kept to themselves, the songs were great and I think it wasn’t the regular pastor but the secondary pastor was absolutely awesome. Went through the main verse then backtracked to the Old Testament to really give the service more understanding which is kind of rare these days. Missed last week for being under the weather but from here on out I’m going to make it a plan to go here from now on out because it’s perfect.

They're fine and all, but their baptism schedule, like when they do baptisms, is not listed on their site. Now I have to wait to see when I'm getting baptized and it could be months.Edit: Mere hours after I wrote the original review, I was informed that I would get the date tomorrow. While I do wish that they had a baptism schedule online, I'm still glad I could get this info. Now I gave them a 4 instead of a 3.

Warm and friendly people. Pastor Ryan teaches the word in plain speak while challenging us to grow in our relationship with Jesus and encouraging others to get to know Jesus.

I just join this church online 4 weeks ago. I have emailed them and the emailed me back very loving caring people. I can't wait to get out there one day and be part of it in person. Thank u for ur service every week God bless

We wanted to like your church, but quite honestly, the sanctuary echoed so badly that we could only understand half of what was said. We were also disappointed that we could not understand a single word in the video interviewing a young missionary couple. Having been on quite a few trips with mission teams in several places around the world, I really wanted to hear what this couple was saying and where they are working.I’ve worn hearing aides for over 20 years. My husband does not. We both agreed the echoing in that building would prevent us from visiting again. ? Otherwise, it looks like a great church from what we read about it.Please consider padding the aisles with carpet, or install padding on the walls to block the echoing. We want to like your church!

An amazing Church! We were in Charlotte for three months last fall, and found West Cabarrus, and are so glad we did. Very welcoming, friendly, great preaching and worship. We also attended the young adult group and were greeted warmly with a great group of people our age! We were sad to go, but would love to attend if back in the area.

I visited today after looking for a church in this area since I moved here a year ago. I was attending Elevation but I feel that church is more about psychobabble and the pastor than God. I enjoyed the preaching on the Psalms, the pastor teaches verse by verse rather than topically, but he emphasized the deliverance and love of God. It's refreshing to visit a church that actually teaches the Bible and talks about Jesus. So many of them such as Elevation use ONE Bible verse as a jumping off point and then gets into psychology. I will definitely come again.

Very welcoming, amazing small groups and youth/children's programs, incredible worship team and sermons are biblically correct. If your in search of a church, you should definitely visit!
