I've been banking here since 2013 and I've never had a problem. The staff has always been attentive and helpful. The features Woodforest has suits me well, especially the fraud protection. I'll probably be a customer for as long as they're in business.

I'm not understanding if you have the choice to turn off your card but merchants and whoever else can still charge your card. This is a way for these banks to keep charging you overdraft fees. You still don't have no control over your own account. It's freaking RIDICULOUS! I will be closing account!

I have been banking with Woodforest Bank for a long time and I have noticed that they keep reducing their hours of operation making them no different than any other bank!! I signed up for an account with them bc of their extended hours and they are slowly taking that away from us! I couldn't even make my deposit at the WM store since they have a $500 limit. This really sucks ! I don't like using the night drop! They never answer the phone either! This may cost them some valuable customers!

I joined Woodforest years ago because they had late hours and open on weekends and holidays. But now they're only working 7 hours a day 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.! WTH. Those are super, super banking hours! All the other banks are open these hours ....or longer! Time for me to find a new financial institution.?

When I first went into the bank, I didn't have much hope that I would have a good experience. Well boy was I wrong. My husband and I walked in to open a new business account. We were greeted by the branch manager Cliff. Cliff gave great customer service. He was kind and helpful. In fact after my experience I was happy that I went into that branch. I am looking forward to having other great experiences at the bank now that I know that Cliff is watching over my money!

I am current woodforest customer usely bank at concord on Thunder Road or in Salisbury nc. They are great. Dont recommend the one on concord commons very unhelpful. They dont care about their customer time. Not willing to do their job. Same requst and information I had Salisbury did it with no problem. She didnt even look up my account before telling me no.

If I could give negative stars...I would. Conduct business with WNB at your own risk...because they could truly care less about you or your business! I do not write checks because I never want to have problems with my bank account. Leave it to Woodforest to find a way. In short, after making an "auto payment" to my cable company, I realized I had transferred funds to another bank account. When my payment for my cable bill attempted to go through and Woodforest charged me $29 as a msg fee, that was on me. I get it. BUT, when they made 2 more attempts to clear this same transaction, even after I paid it via a different bank account, and even AFTER I obtained in writing that it was not my cable company attempting to again clear this payment, THIS WAS WOODFOREST' FAULT! What did they do? Investigate? Nope! Care? Nope! They charged me another $29 x 2 = $58!!!! For a bill that was paid! I attempted to explain to them that I could prove what I'm claiming. They did NOT care! Beware!!

If you ever need to talk to someone on the phone, be prepared to use this app. You'll end up having to call around from location to location. I was there last week. There were 6 staff members and 3 customers. The ph rang and rang & everybody was ignoring it. I've noticed this countless times at different branches. My account has been hacked 2 times in 2 years and I've had the most difficult time trying to get their help. 2 days ago, I went in to fill out additional paperwork. Today, they called and said that my account was negative & wanted to know when I'm going to do something about it. I've been disputing these charges for weeks and that's the only reason why they called? Then I asked if she could see on her end that the charges were being disputed & that's why I haven't deposited the money. Then, they immediately hung up. No update on any of my issues, just hung up. Do yourself a favor and choose a reliable bank. The only perk with woodforest is their hours. This bank is trash!
