Everything about my move was handled professionally and promptly. From receiving the estimate to the actual move, the process was seamless. The movers called to notify their arrival time, household items and art were carefully handled and packed and belongings and car were whisked away to arrive safely from Maine to NC. Terrell was the “captain of the ship” so to speak, an experienced mover who could handle the entire move if he had to…strong and creative packing skill One more move awaits and I’ll definitely use TruPak again.

I recently used Tru-Pak for my long distance move and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. The crew showed up on time and were very courteous and professional and my belongings arrived in perfect condition. I won't hesitate to use them again.

I hired Tru-Pak to do a small move for me from a storage unit to my house. The men showed up on time and looking very professional. All 3 guys were very nice and well mannered. They did an excellent job! Will definitely be using them on my next move!

This entire experience with Tru-Pak was doomed from the beginning. I’d give less than one star if it were possible. The movers basically told us their challenge was to pack my house in one day - their objective was speed, not quality, and that was evident on the end. Not a single piece of furniture was wrapped or protected. Many items not even wrapped in paper or packed in boxes (ex. My kids toothbrushes and countertop items thrown openly into the bathroom’s waste bin). A large paper art print was rolled, FOLDED, and stuffed into a box. My military uniforms were treated like dirt. Couches torn, furniture scratched, the list goes on. Instead of meeting me on day two at my old home before departing for the destination (as agreed), the movers just took off for my destination and left an entire bathroom without packing it, along with several drawers in the kitchen. I was dumbfounded. At the end of it all, their insurance company was not willing to stand behind them. It’s obvious that they have issues with competence at Tru-Pak; the real problem is that they can’t be TRUSTED to make it right. I’ll make it easy for you, choose someone else.

PLEASE do not pick this moving company!! We hired them in November of 2022. After the move, we noticed our washer and dryer had been badly dented, in the front, in the exact same area, on both pieces. (We, of course, paid for their insurance to cover any damages that might occur during the moving process.) We filed a claim. The first person we spoke with, Margaret Tallent, was supposed to handle our claim from start to finish but "something" happened and we were passed to Heather Rasch. We didn't hear from her for several weeks. We had to run her down just to get updates on our claim. When she did finally call, she was disrespectful, sarcastic, and very unprofessional. We were told the replacement parts could not be found for both, our 1 year old washer and dryer set. Tru-Pak offered us a check in the amount of the cost of our washer, but not our dryer. We told them since both items were damaged, both should be replaced or paid damages for. We asked to speak with the owner of the company, Alison Siegel, since we could not make headway with her two employees, she refused to step up and take responsibility for the damage her company has caused to our washer and dryer. They literally want to pay us for damages to cover the amount of one item, not both. We asked for both the washer and dryer fronts to be replaced or both to be paid for. We have received no reasonable offer and this company continues to behave in a very unprofessional and very immature fashion. PLEASE save yourself from the awful headache we are now forced to deal with from this company, by not choosing them for your moving needs. What a complete and utter nightmare for something that should be simple to remedy. Especially given the fact we paid for the insurance coverage!!!

I hired Tru Pak, as a United Van Lines agent, to pack and move our household goods from the Charlotte, NC area to the Indianapolis, IN area. After two excellent cross-country moves made by other United agents, I was willing to pay premium dollar (over $8,000) for another such move. Unfortunately, what I got was an utter debacle. The packers and movers were almost entirely inexperienced, which showed in nearly every action they took. Packing was slow, inconsistent and resulted in high levels of damage to our possessions accumulated over 45 years of marriage. After pickup, the company did not keep us informed about delivery, and it wasn't until I complained to United Customer Service that I heard anything from them. They finally arrived at our destination, with only two men and no ramps to unload the trailer. We discovered there was no inventory of our goods (there were stickers on everything, and a listing of our goods, but no correlation between the sticker numbers and the bizarre/incomprehensible item descriptions). Most of our furniture was unwrapped and not protected in any fashion. They used our dining room table as an offloading platform at the end of the trailer, until I stopped them. The table and three of the four chairs were significantly damaged. Our 60" flat screen TV was wrapped in paper and placed in two picture frame boxes (miraculously, it was undamaged). They broke three lamps, three vases, put a gigantic 1" gash in the front edge of our bedroom wardrobe and marred the surface of a 100 year old secretary from my parents. Both of the garage metal storage cabinets and my tool chest, which were pristine, were badly scuffed and marked. In our two prior moves with United, not one damaged item. You be the judge.
