I love buying in Aldi.Better quality than other supermarkets, less sugar in food, it has what you need to eat in a healthy weekly life.Prices are way better than in other places.Lines are fast! Like in Europe ♥️ because I hate going to Walmart, Target, Harris… where lines to pay takes forever!

Purchased the shaved steak today, went home straight away to grill it on our flat top, added fresh provolone, seasonings and it had an odd smell while cooking but thought maybe just need to have it cooked thru, well no, took one bite on the fresh hoagie roll and it tastes like wet dog! Went to take it back 1 hour after I just bought it, with receipt and photos of product, first off, not once does the cashier at this store greet you with a smile or even a hello...the request for our money back was not very pleasant, I wasn't even asked what was wrong with it, they were very busy, which I understand with only two people working, this store typically gets long lines with 1 employee at the cashier.. the employees are not very friendly that check you out, the only Aldi that I encounter that are not friendly.. the Moorseville's employees are awesome.. same with Huntersville, and Denver ..Cornelius staff always seems like you're putting them out, and rarely have a smile on their face.. maybe they are overworked and short staffed but they definitely shouldn't take it out on the locals who shop there, I plan to shop at the Moorseville one in the future..which is super depressing because this is only 5 mins from home!

There is a very concerning incident involving potentially contaminated Brussels sprouts from Aldi, which may cause illness in your family and did in mine. Despite contacting the store and corporate, receiving an emailed gift card for a refund, efforts to use it were unsuccessful by the Cornelius store and manager. We have also reported the issue to the FDA. I have been sick since last Wednesday and went to the doctor today. I understand someone can get sick from produce at any store, but Aldi in the store in Cornelius did nothing to make it right and we are going the extra mile to make sure no one gets sick from their products, ever again. Considering this, seeking assistance from local health authorities or a consumer protection agency might be beneficial to address this matter comprehensively and prevent further incidents for anyone reading this. No one is covering this. And the store manager said “I have never seen that before” regarding an online emailed gift card from corporate regarding our issue with an apology. So the Aldi at Cornelius did not honor our gift card.Also, the Brussel sprouts are currently up front and say “buy more save more” to make it all the better.I also went to the doctor today, still in pain 6 days later.I would love a response or an email or a phone call from your manager because all aldi corporate is very aware of our situation. If you are not you can give me your customer service email below and I’d be happy to email you our contact information for you to call us to get this review deleted. Otherwise, it is not being deleted because it is true.
