Bought spark plugs from them at what I thought was a decent but realistic price. Received an email not too long later telling me the price was a mistake and the plugs were $20 extra per. Putting a mistake in price (that wasn't even that extreme a difference) on the customer and telling them to pay more after the purchase didn't sit well with me, so I cancelled the order. Mistakes happen but don't punish customers for it. Won't be shopping there again.

They say a part's "in stock" when it isn't, just to secure the sale, then only when they have your money do THEY order it from their supplier. Per their own CS weaselry, their lying definition of "in stock" is "can we get it and send it out within our stated 3-day timeframe?" Even when this works perfectly it still delays your stuff by days. When it doesn't work perfectly (which is often) that can become WEEKS, with your car disabled the whole time. This is totally unacceptable. "In stock" means IN STOCK, period.

I wanted to make a basic adaptation on my car and was told by OBDeleven their pro plan would do it. Purchased pro plan from DAP based on reputation - but the pro plan didn't work as represented. Requested a refund, but no go. DAP should probably stand behind the product they sell and do the right thing. I've requested the same from OBDeleven but much the same: "it's probably your software" but I've performed the same adaptation previously via vcds with no problem. Buyer beware I guess.

California resident, Great customer service and speedy delivery. I had ordered trim pieces and a new grill they both got damaged in shipping. I reached out to them immediately and they got me all new parts and shipped out in just under a week. Thanks again DAP!

Fraudulently advertises overnight shipping but then takes 3+ days to get my product to me. Horrible customer service when it comes to fixing their bad business practices.You can reach out to their customer service but they won't respond if you have an issue.

5 star customer service and 5 star parts!I decided to drop in to DAP and pick up a Holy Shift kit for my mk8 GTI. Jill and Logan were super helpful to me. They downsold me a scratch and dent kit that was barely blemished and saves me a bunch of money on a part I never see and probably scratched worse while installing it. When the part wasn't listed on their website they had it added on in only a couple minutes. The installation video where Paul installs one was super helpful in giving me the confidence to start wrenching on a car that barely has 75 miles on it. If you are buying your VW or Audi parts anywhere else you are making a huge mistake. Especially if you live in the LKN or Charlotte area.

Coolant from my Tiguan was starting to leak, so I took my VW to a local repair shop to get a quote. I was shocked when they came back with a $1000+ quote to replace the auxilliary water pump, so I began to wonder if it was something I could do myself. I called my son, who has a GTi, and he recommended I check out Deutsche Auto Parts' website and Youtube channel.First, my local repair shop actually mis-diagnosed my vehicle. After doing a bit of investigation on the DAP website and Youtube site, I discovered it was most likely a bad water pump that was leaking, so I viewed a few videos on how to replace them and decided to give it a try. I ordered the DAP water pump replacement kit, which included an aluminum water pump/thermostat, drive belt, o rings, new coupling, replacement screws, and 4 liters of genuine VW/Audi coolant concentrate.Just a couple days later, a small box arrived at my doorstep with everything packed very nicely; everything was cushioned with paper, the coolant was enclosed in a plastic bag to prevent any possible leaks (there were none), all the small parts were in tidy plastic bags, and even the new screws' plastic bag had the torque values stamped on them. Everything looked to be very high quality--at least OEM quality--the new water pump was a high quality item made in Italy, with an aluminum housing (not plastic like the original), featuring very high finish standards. The casting was smooth and clean, with no flash, and the gasket fit nicely in its machined slot. Pretty impressive parts, all packed very neatly. The job itself went without a hitch, thanks to their well-made videos that helped me get acquainted with the engine and procedure; I am just a backyard mechanic--definitely not an enthusiast as far as skills and experience go.I really get the feeling that DAP is staffed with enthusiasts who are knowledgeable and who want to do things the right way. It shows in the website, their Youtube channel, in their communication and friendly, speedy service. They are my new reference and parts supplier for all things VW.Very highly recommended.

(Cross country order review). I ordered power folding mirrors, a bone trim trool, a Torx bit set, and door clips for use on my mk7 GTI.The trim tool was on back order. Being a relatively inexpensive and unnecessary part, I was annoyed upon finding out about a week later that it would delay the entire order. (I found out upon inquiring as to my order status.) I thought it should have been noted on the final ordering page that any back ordered parts would delay the entire order. I made this suggestion to staff who was receptive.When I received the email letting me know, I also found out that the last set of power mirrors was broken and would need to wait further. As my car mirror was broken, I was in need of a replacement part. I spoke with the team at DAP who encouraged me to stay with them and expedited my shipping, at great expense to their bottom line on this order. I was so impressed that they took that leap, I decided to stick with them and a little while later I received the shipping receipt and it arrived 2 days later from the other side of the country.THANK YOU DAP TEAM FOR PLACING YOUR CUSTOMERS FIRST!!! I WILL CERTAINLY BE ORDERING ANYTHING IN THE FUTURE FROM YOU AS YOU HAVE WON MY BUSINESS!
