I have been going to this Home Depot for close to 20 years and have always had great customer service and experience. Recently it seems to have gone downhill drastically and management has gotten terrible.
I had the unpleasant experience not too long ago to be going to the men's room and walking past the break room. I got to over here the manager Allison, very loudly proclaim "They cannot fire me, I'm a black woman. I am on fireable". I remember her from Brooklyn South, she was a server there years ago and we always go along so well. Little did I know how disrespectful she would become as she got some "power" as a manager and leader, sad state for Home Depot.
It disgusted me that in the age of equality, someone would make such a racist statement like that. It convinced me that all my contracting needs would now be brought to Lowe's.
I also contacted corporate regarding this behavior and the language being used in a way that customers can openly hear it.

Recently I build a custom garage storage shelves. This store workers helped me in cutting the lumber and plywood according to my sizes.

A little out of the way, but a good place for lumber, hardware, paint, lighting, appliances, outdoor supplies, etc. Understaffed, though.

Amazingly this turns out to be the best garden center in our area of Huntersville/Cornelius. As a former owner of a garden services business I can say that they have the best selection of healthy plants I have seen so far this year. What a wide variety they have. I told the employees yesterday and decided other people should know too.

My family and kids went for work shop on Saturday June1st, the ladies was so disrespectful and rude; my wife politely asked to reach one of the items for the kids and the lady responded with smart tone “you’re welcome! You’re welcome “; even the kids start panicking when they see her??!!
I always go to Cornelius store cause it closer to where I work; I don’t think I will go there anymore!

Many errors involving new refrigerator ordered online connected to Cornelius store. Had to RS delivery first time as wanted to come when told them ahead would be at dr visit Then when came a week or more later the refrig. was wrong color. RS again for 1 week later . When got no text or email with their 4 hr window of arrival the night before, called customer svc for that info! Finally got real person to learn delivery was canceled as didn’t get me on phone few days prior?! Got no voicemail or any communication to clarify time arriving for tmrw nor any notice of canceled delivery!? Be wary about ordering appliances from this Home Depot. Very disappointing. Only positive was great work by 2 guys delivering the wrong color one . Have used it till correct one to be here….some day soon hopefully!??

Really dislike this store. Placed an order on the app using the list from my contractor. Order was wrong when I picked it up. It was literally 6 items from the lumber department. Lumber cashier was rude and couldn't/wouldn't help. They made me drive to customer service and have them call the lumber department to correct the issue. I probably would have been better off shopping for myself from the item numbers on my list. How does this store stay in business? There are no employees when you need help. Next time I'll request a material list from Lowes.

I placed an order for pickup the day before, came in to pick it up. I advised I did not get an order pick up email prior. The women working the customer service desk is INCREDIBLY rude. If you don’t want to be at your job perhaps find a different one. She acted as I was an inconvenience to her leaning over the counter.
You know what’s more of an inconvenience? An order not being ready for pick up from a day prior. But I didn’t take it out on her.
Perhaps some customer service training is needed. Such a shame too, everyone else I encountered was so kind and professional.

I wanted to thank Ron Milner for going the extra mile to help me with my order. I was having problems finding the right item and he was patient and solved my problem. Order placed! So glad to see great customer service is still alive. Thank you Ron.

I don't know why this store is allowing customers to bring dogs in the store.Every customers isn't a dog lover.lf you going to allow dogs in store post it so other customers can know.If beaten by a dog in store,the store will be held accountable.

I had a washing machine installed yesterday. An hour later I had water leaking into my garage from upstairs. The installers didn't tighten up the connections. I called the store and was cut off. I tried calling back, and no one answered. Horrible installation.
