K9 Park At Ramsey Creek is a dog-friendly park located near Lake Norman, offering a large fenced area for dogs with a separate section for small dogs. The park features about 2 acres of space with many shade trees and benches, making it a nice place to relax and enjoy nature. Visitors often take advantage of the trails through the woods and around the lake, providing scenic scenery during visits. Restrooms are conveniently located at the entrance and are very clean. The park has a picnic area that is also clean and welcoming, perfect for spending a few hours outdoors with pets. While the park is enjoyable, some concerns have been noted. A few owners let their reactive dogs bully others, which can be problematic, and there is no clear way to report such behavior. The park is a little rundown with some bare dirt areas, and it might not be ideal after heavy rain. Children under 12 are not allowed inside the fenced dog area, which some visitors find unusual. The lake area does not seem to have a designated dog-friendly water spot, although dogs often have fun around the park. Overall, many visitors love taking their dogs there regularly, despite some minor issues with park maintenance and behavior management.
There is a select group of owners who let their reactive dogs bully the others. I’ve had to pull their dogs off of mine without them anywhere In sight. I wish there was a way to report them. It’s only a couple people that really have ruined it for the majority.

This is a nice facility but a little rundown. There are lots of shade trees and benches but there is also a lot of bare dirt. Probably not a place to go after a recent rainfall! BTW - Children under 12 are not allowed inside the dog park fence, which I thought was unusual!

Great park. We liked it alot. We did not see a dog friendly place for them to get in the lake. Possibly we missed something with all the lake pictures? Our dogs had fun
