This is a nice facility but a little rundown. There are lots of shade trees and benches but there is also a lot of bare dirt. Probably not a place to go after a recent rainfall! BTW - Children under 12 are not allowed inside the dog park fence, which I thought was unusual!

Great park. We liked it alot. We did not see a dog friendly place for them to get in the lake. Possibly we missed something with all the lake pictures? Our dogs had fun

Also a favorite of mine. We love the lake access for swimming when they let us.

I love this place. I take my furbaby every Saturday and Sunday morning. Nice scenery if you take the trails thru the woods and around the lake.

Toilets: Restrooms are located right at the very entrance of the doggie park.
Dog-friendliness: Fairly large fenced in area for dogs with a separate area set up for small dogs if you choose. Has many trees providing shade and approximately 2 acres... Smaller than Clarks Creek Park if you have visited there before. My dogs really enjoyed it there thou. Did not have to pay a $5.00 fee that I found about later because it is on Lake Norman, maybe due to it being winter time... This is just off of Lake Norman, with the beach using the same "park" entrance. The doggie park portion is just as you come past the entrance sentry building on the left. You will notice the fenced chain link and signage as you drive in.

A little confusing on which side was the large dog pen and the small dog pen. Large pen by restrooms. The small dog pen is on down at the end of parking lot.Restrooms: Very clean!Dog-friendliness: Dogs were all pretty much friendly.Picnic area: Very clean and welcoming!

Another great day at the park. About six dogs and some very pleasant people.Restrooms: Very convenient.Dog-friendliness: The dogs for the greatest part always get along. They have a separate mini park for small dogs.Picnic area: Nice sheltered picnic area.

It's OK. It's an off leash dog park that has lots of room for letting your dog run loose, play fetch, etc. It's just really hit or miss on if difficult dogs and dog owners show up. Ramsey Creek park itself is nice. You can always just abandon the dog park and walk around if it's unpleasant.

Love this park and come often. Almost always 5+ people who are mostly vigilant and attentive. Wish there was a bit more shade but that's mostly on the outskirts of the park where the trees are clustered - the main area is the center of the park which is mostly dirt and a bit of grass.

We love Ramsey Creek Park! It's always clean, has a great group of people and dogs, and is a good size. Our dog loves running through the wooded areas.

Theres no water or beach to let the dog play off leash like implied. Not a great park at all. Drove an hour for nothing

Very cool gated first time seeing it. Everyone was chill and able to walk trails and sit down next to restroom
