I went yesterday for a trim from Destiny and ended up having to go to Untangled and have a woman with 30 years of experience and training, Jennifer, fix what she did to my hair. It was way shorter than I wanted, choppy, uneven, and spots were completely missed. Allison, who works at this location is fantastic, but unfortunately she was not there that day. I have had many cuts here before with no issues at all. It was cut to short to be about to add extensions in and fixing it made it even shorter. Allison did everything she could to make the experience right, but unfortunately I had to buy a wig until I could get it fixed and also now have growth serums to try to get it to grow back out. Please, male or female, DO NOT let Destiny cut your hair. I am completely devastated and feel completely insecure with the style I have to deal with until it grows back out.

They get 2 stars for the location but my husband has not been pleased with his haircut the last 3x and when he walked in the door and I jumped up he knew it was bad the last time. I advised him to not go back and stop paying for services that you dislike. He said the last person(today)said they could “clean it up” he said NO don’t clean anything! He told me he was coming home to shave his entire head at this point! He is not happy at all. He just walked in and it’s very patchy and doesn’t look like a professional did it at all!
**update, we just shaved his head bald SMH!!!**

We have gone to the Huntersville Location before and were satisfied customers. This experience was very different.. The Huntersville Location was busy with a 75 minute wait for 1 hair stylist, so I took my son to the Cornelius sports clips. We were 2nd and 3rd in line and 3 stylists were on duty. After 20 minutes of waiting my son was called. I was called 15 minutes later. I didn't realize they were near closing as all they kept talking about was leaving and one stylist had already left and my son & I were the last customers in the store. We upgraded to the MVP as we always do. My stylist was nice but my cut was rushed. I asked for the same haircut as my son which was a fade. 0 on back and sides and a 1 on top with a small amount to spike up in the front. My son is 16 and he kept asking her to cut more and more as she used a 3 on the sides and back and a 4 up top. Not listening to his request. She kept telling him we can always take off more. He just continuously asked her to use a 0 on sides and back and a 1 on top as requested. Even though I started 15 minutes after, I had gone to shampoo before him and received only 1 hot towel and no massage at all & my son had 1 hot towel and when almost done she put a towel over his neck and used the massager for less than 10 seconds (no exaggeration) as I was watching. His haircut was finished 10 minutes after mine!! Both of the stylists were looking to leave. It was not the experience we expected or paid for. I felt like she rushed the entire way through and my son was agitated that he had to keep reiterating to her how he requested his hair.
But wait there is more.....
When they emailed for a review, I explained exactly the same as above.
Heaven (Digital Media & Communications Specialist) reached out to us via email to hear about our subpar experience. I missed her 1st call and I called right back and no answer so I emailed several times over the next few days and tried to call back with no luck. I even called her coworker. She emailed me and called me while I was working and I missed her call and then radio silence. I emailed her tonight before this review, at this point, we will take our business elsewhere as there are many other options out there to get a good cut that appreciates the business.

Yesterday I got one of the worst haircuts of my life here. Sometimes you get a decent barber and sometimes you don’t. I’m tired of it and will not return

The haircut is $25. You can go online and set up your appointment. Always do a great job. Professional friendly clean atmosphere. Definitely recommend. Be sure and tip.
