I’m currently shopping for a boat, and while I haven’t made a purchase yet, my experience with Talley’s Pier 77 Marine has been fantastic so far. From the moment I walked in, the team made me feel comfortable, not pressured. It’s clear they know their stuff—they’re not just selling boats, they’re passionate boaters themselves. I’ve heard from friends who bought here that the delivery process feels more like a friend walking you through everything, rather than a dealership just handing over the keys. I’m confident when I’m ready to buy, Talley’s will be the place I trust.

Recently purchased a boat from Talley’s Pier 77 Marine and cannot say enough about the experience. Taylor (sales) was a consistent partner from the moment we spoke on the phone to personally delivering the boat to our marina.
He offered excellent product knowledge and exceptional customer service at all stages in the process. Interactions with service, admin, and ownership were equally pleasant. Talley’s takes a family approach to business that is evident immediately. Unsure what it will be, but I know my family’s next boat will be purchased from Talley’s.

They put the waste tank lid in the sink, and put the sink lid in the owners bag without mentioning there was now no lid on the waste tank. They also messed up the front gauges, I don't think my battery is over 18 volts.
EDIT: I am sorry for my earlier comment. My problem is that it feels like someone should have knew, because I expect them too double check when working on 100K+ boats. If they knew I expect to be notified so I can check at home or find a new cap. The gauges are more forgivable because it is easy to forget to check it. I just want to at lest know if something does not go to plan in such an expensive boat. It will not be an option for me to bring it in for a while.
PS: They did a good job cleaning the boat so I updated the score to 3/5.

We first visited Talley’s to get a pump for our existing boat. When we arrived we met Billy Talley and Ed Florentino and asked them to look at a few boats on the lot. Billy showed us a beautiful 2016 Regal 2000 ES. After looking at the boat, I purchased the pump and talked to the great folks in Parts and Service. They provided a lot of help with fixing my boat. After a week of talking it over we decided to purchase the 2016 Regal bow rider. When I showed up to pick the boat up, Ed walked me through everything and explained every option on the boat. Billy and Ed are very knowledgeable about their boats and make purchasing one very easy. After taking the boat to the lake the very next day, we fell even more in love with it. We can’t thank the Talley’s Pier 77 team enough for their help! Everyone was so courteous and professional. We are looking forward to a lifelong relationship with Talley’s!

Wanted to give a HUGE shout out to Talleys!! Especially Wyatt and Wade. We had a major trailer issue on our way out of town for 10 days. We called and did they show up!!! Came to us and got the trailer. Fixed it before we got back from our trip. Was in communication with then almost everyday. Never had to worry about anything. We cant say enough about you all!!!! Thanks so much for making sure we were taken care of us.

Just bought our second boat from Talley’s (first new boat) and the complete experience was exceptional once again. Ed Florentino, our sales professional, is among the most knowledgeable and courteous in the business. Ed spent an entire afternoon delivering our boat and reviewed absolutely every feature and taught me many new things on the water after boating for 25 years. I highly recommend calling or visiting Ed to discuss your needs. All backed by the Talley family reputation of integrity and great customer service. Sara Talley assisted us with both purchases over the years very authentically appreciating our business.

If you're shopping for a new boat, you have to stop by Talleys Pier 77 to meet Ed and Billy. We found the exact boat we were looking for and not before we test drove several boats. They were more than willing to drop several boats in the water so we could be sure we were buying the right boat. Their support and customer service has been wonderful and they made us feel very comfortable that we were buying from the right place. I would HIGHLY recommend them if you're in the market for a new or used boat. You won't be sorry I assure you.

I have had a service relationship with Talley’s Pier 77 Marine for 15 years, never purchased a boat from them. When the time came to upgrade my 2004 Regal 2400 LSR, I began my search looking for a used 2018-2019 Regal.As a part of my research, I wanted to see what the newer boats looked like and what improvements had been made. It was at this moment that I drove down to Talley’s Pier 77 Marine to take a look around. As I parked at the dealership and started walking towards the boats, Ed Florentino casually came out of the office. I thought to myself, here goes the high-pressure pitch. I quickly set the tone with Ed that I was just beginning my search and wanted to just look at the boats. Ed offered to walk me through the models, or I could feel free to browse on my own and come to the office if I had questions. I took Ed up on his offer and that’s when things changed. Ed took 2 hours out of his day walking me through the new LS2, LS4, and LS6, after I had told him I wasn’t buying a new boat. This guy loves his boats and knows these boats inside and out. The conversation was very informative and no pressure at all. As I was leaving, I asked Ed for his card so I could contact him with questions. He did not try to pressure me to come and sit down in the office, as per the typical dealer experience.Fast forward about a month of searching, researching, and analyzing the market east of the Mississippi, and I decided to purchase a new Regal LS6 that Talley’s Pier 77 Marine had on the lot. Ed and Billy Talley were instrumental in my decision to buy a new boat. I could have looked longer and saved a few bucks on a used boat, but the price delta in this market between used and new just made the new boat purchase make sense for our family. We negotiated a fair price for both parties. When you are buying a boat, the dealer is equally as important as the brand of boat. With Talley’s Pier 77 Marine, and Regal Boats, you get the best of both.Usually this is where the story ends. At Talley’s Pier 77 Marine, this is where the story begins. Ed was on vacation when I decided to purchase the boat. Billy Talley (CEO) gave me his personal cell number and was very responsive throughout the week. The weather last weekend was going to be in the 80s (Halloween Weekend ‘23), so I wanted to take delivery and enjoy the beautiful weather. Billy had his crew jump on the pre-delivery checks and had the boat fully detailed in time for delivery Saturday morning.Saturday morning, Ed rides directly up to the dock to deliver the boat and complete the orientation. My wife and I jump on the boat with Ed and we take off on the lake. Ed drove though some maneuvering and handling exercises to show us how the boat handles. We then pull into a cove where we completed a full stern to bow orientation including every system, switch, cubby, lever, dash, stereo, Power Tower, etc., on the boat. There was nothing Ed didn’t know about this boat, inside and out. We talked through winterizing as it does get cold here in Charlotte, just a very thorough orientation to the new boat. Ed’s core belief is the more you know about the boat and the more comfortable you are operating it, the more enjoyable of an experience you will have through your boat ownership. Ed invested about 4 hours in us to ensure we had all of the information we needed.After the orientation, Ed took us to a marina to teach us how to properly dock the boat using the engine, and the bow thrusters that my boat has (gamechanger!). Ed was extremely patient while teaching us how to properly dock. He was a calming voice as tensions rose. No one wants to scuff up their brand-new boat with dock rash on day one!Overall, the total experience from Talley’s Pier 77 Marine was exceptional. There is a reason their office is wallpapered with Regal customer service awards. If you are just looking, or actively purchasing a boat, go see these guys, you won’t regret it!

I recently purchased a regal boat from Talleys Pier 77 Charlotte NC area. Just received the boat which I am happy with. The dealership was honorable easy to work with. The salesman was the difference maker. I had previously owned a cobalt which was a great boat but when it came to upgrading I ran into Ed, the Talley sales guy at the boat show. He was helpful during the sales process but even more helpful when the boat was delivered. He cares to educate you about the specifics of the boat. He is a gem and I highly recommend Talleys based on Ed’s knowledge and experience and concern for having a satisfied customer.The way business should be done. Thanks Ed.

I recently purchased a boat from Talley's Pier 77 Marine. I had a wonderful experience. Billy Talley went above and beyond what was required to educate me about the boat well beyond the final sale. He obviously loves his job and exudes competence. I can recommend this business without any reservations. If you want to buy a new or pre owned boat call Talley's Pier 77.
