They are garbage when it comes to providing a service. If packages arrive, they return them without any reason, and if you ask, they respond in the worst way. Incompetent people should not work there, they cause a loss of time and money

We had the best experience here! Shelley was extremely helpful and patient with us trying to find our packages in a stack of them the were held because the rental property didn’t allow deliveries. Thankful they worked with us. Shelley was the best and so kind!

The worst customer service experience my husband and I have ever had!! The post worker was extremely rude and made it quite obvious we were inconviencing her when we told her we had prepaid envelopes to be shipped out. She rolled her eyes and made snarky remarks. It was to the point my husband asked if she was okay and when she threw one of the packages we took our stuff and went elsewhere. She told me her name was Shelly but the post office that kindly handled our business knew her well and said she causes trouble wherever she goes. They also clarified that her name is actually Robin. Either way, what a miserable, miserable person.

The Corolla Post Office staff is great! Exceptional service in a difficult area. They have very tight working conditions, and have to handle tons of Amazon packages, even more in the summer rental season. Thank you PO employees for all you do! 💕

I use US postal services in multiple locations, quite often for a small business. Corolla Post Office is by far the best. They are quick, accurate and friendly. Thank you.

Worst of the worst the house is literally within eyeshot of this joke of a postoffice. The lazy post lady in the place claims it's not her job ? my driveway back home is longer than this home is from the post office here. The directions are simple deliver to front porch cant handle it?I suggest you find a job making sandwiches ? People that think I'm being harsh didn't see this sad lady's attitude she has no business dealing with customers at any job.

So grateful to have a local post office with such helpful staff. The two ladies who work here are kind and go above and beyond — helping me pack up a shipment and also helping me retrieve two packages that I didn't expect would ship via USPS. Our house doesn't have a mailbox so I was very appreciative that I could pick the packages up rather than have them sent back. (You just have to catch it the day your items arrive, and go between 10:30-12 or 1-3:30 as they close for lunch from 12-1.) Thank you!

While on vacation, I ordered baked goods for my father's birthday from Etsy ; the seller used usps unfortunately (Fedex or UPS are better for rural areas like outer banks). After the Usps status updated to "delivered, parcel locker", I went to the leasing office where I requested the package and they notified me that no packages were received that day and that the "parcel locker" is at the USPS office in Corolla, NC. I drove 15 miles as fast as I could to arrive before they closed (at 330pm) and the Usps lady that I spoke with notified me that the package was not there. Without taking down my tracking number which I was showing to her and without checking anywhere in the post office, she flatly told me that it had been delivered to the address and that "the package would have to be retrieved and brought back to USPS". I told her that would not be necessary because I would go there to retrieve it. Disappointed but determined, I returned to the leasing office and they confirmed that the package was not delivered yet and that the Corolla US post office was in error. I received the package a full 24 hours later - it was indeed delivered to the leasing office at that point, but it was too late, half of the baked goods had already gone bad to my family's chagrin.I should note that withholding mail is a federal offense, so when I arrived to the USPS post office that day , the woman who neither checked my tracking number nor bothered to assess whether the package was in their possession, was in violation of this law. She knowingly or unknowingly held my package for one more full day. This is probably the same employee mentioned in other reviews here. Her employer/manager should take note.

Miserable people with miserable faces, even on the phone they are miserable. Avoid going in there if you can, however their incompetence at handling the most basic of tasks will probably force you to meet with them in person..good luck!

The folks at the Corolla post office are outstanding. They are courteous and helpful and when there is a difficulty they go beyond expected limits to solve it. What a great group!

When I was in college I asked my landlord if we could install a mailbox. Problem solved, got all my mail and was even able to use little red flag to send mail. Maybe tourists should request houses with mailboxes before complaining that the local Post Office won’t deliver their mail. Heck, some of these houses don’t even have an address on them. Don’t cry because the overworked postal person won’t get out of their car MULTIPLE times a day to leave a package at what may or may not be the right address.
