“Very nice staff. I went in for something specific and it wasn't on the shelf. I asked them if they had it in the back and the nice young lady at the register said she didn't know but she called another gentleman up there. He said "what!? I just stocked that earlier today; let me go check for you." He then came back out pushing a cart with the product on it to restock it AGAIN. Highly recommend.”

“Temple is a fantastic spot to go out for drinks on the weekends or after work with pals. The location is a bar; they do not provide food but there are several restaurants in the neighborhood, and you are more than welcome to bring own food inside the establishment. This is a concept I am truly starting to take a liking too - especially with food trucks. If you want to have a drink and watch sports or vibe out to R&B music, definitely check The Temple Charlotte out.”

“When I arrived in Frugal MacDoogal, I was overwhelmed by all the alcohol on shelves, and on stands in the walkways. But I immediately saw the different types of alcohol and liquor on signs, and that was helpful. Everything is clearly marked a price, a cash price that is a little lower than the Credit or debit card price. And I like how they have all the brands of each liquor and one individual section. If you drink any type of alcohol or liquor, this is your place to go, and bring cash to save a little bit on what you would normally spend in the ABC store. Oh, and by the way next-door, they have the beer and wine selection also!”

“Always pleased with the quality of the experience at this Harris Teeter. Today I want to give a shout out to the meat counter folks. I needed 4 porterhouse steaks cut to 1 3/4” thick (about 2 pounds each). Everyone was so helpful but Matt selected the best meat and cut some beautiful steaks. And Juan, the department manager, had come over to apologize that they only had Choice and not Black Angus, and he offered the Value Pack pricing if I was OK with Choice (I was). When he came up to me I had been admiring the meat dry aging in the cabinet and I asked about how well it sells, the taste, etc. For my trouble of getting Choice rather than Black Angus, and with the potential to convert me to a Store Aged steak guy, HY took out the aged T-Bone and had them cut a 1” streak for me to try at no charge (would have been >$20!).I always get great service from really friendly people at the HT meat counter. Today was exceptional, thanks to Matt, Juan and others who helped but whose names I failed to get.”

“Harris Teeter usually has very fresh produce! It's like the Chick-fil-A of grocery stores. This location in particular is always clean & shelves are normally fully stocked. Their store brand Turkey bacon is literally top TWO when it comes to good quality and flavor. This is one item that's hard to come by but when it's in stock, we like to rack up! They are priced higher that other grocery stores like Walmart or Food Lion but there's a few items I like to buy from HT.”
“the staff are super nice and sweet and helpful. the issue is they NEVER have ANYTHING in stock (which I understand isn’t the staffs fault either- whatever regulations and yada yada) go to belmont, MIL or gastonia if you want the most basic of the basics bc they probably won’t have what you want. mount holly is dumb they keep building with no incentive to expand anything else but housing.”
“Always fantastic customer service. The Gastonia one is closer, but I perfer to go the extra couple of miles. People like Kat in meat/seafood, the nicer variety, and the overall feeling that their employees wanted to be there are great reasons to shop there.”
“I was visiting a long time friend in Shelby Nc and we stopped at The string bean for brunch. We had the mussels to start with a grilled Caesar salad and red wine! All amazing ! I will definitely come back . Great service, food and ambiance.”
“Harris teeters are the higher end groceries stores compared to Walmart, Food Lion, Winn Dixie, etc. They offer better customer service, better produce/fresh food quality (such as the meats and seafood section). They also offer to repackage anything in the meat department if you need a smaller quantity. On top of better quality, they also have a few to-go food options; wing bar, salad bar, sushi bar, sandwich bar, and Asian food bar. Outside of this, I don't buy anything else from Harris teeter. Their nonperishable goods are way higher and I don't think quality differs in nonperishable items (brand to brand).”

“Since Harris Teeter has moved to the new current location, I almost want to give a 5. Yes, I might be a high maintenance customer. I love shopping at Harris Teeter now. Was that because there's a competitor of Walmart across the road. . In deed Walmart also has improved a lot since more new development along HW16. The new Harris Teeter is very impressive with new look. Their customer service is very good. I love their lunch counters for their choices, price and quality. It's just a few times, I was late and all trays were empty. One thing I really really love is the bakery department. They have 1/2 a cake available with a nice plastic box for me to carry to friends' house. Their cakes are super delicious, just like where I was grown up in old Hong Kong, European style, a lightly sugar fresh cream but not traditional Americans heavy sugar icing that I threw away everytime. The sponge cake base is so soft and close to puffy tastes super delicious. I can't recommend which is the best because I've had their lemon cake, Cheese cakes, others & yesterday the big fruit tart, all are delicious. Everyone said they love them. Good job bakers ! I'll give you a 10! You'll see me all the times again!”
“I ordered a sheet cake for my sons birthday from this location with a picture in mind but open to whatever was within the realm of what they could do. He wanted a tornado themed cake and when I say they nailed it, I mean it. The manager, woman working at the deli at the time I placed the order, and the cake decorator were all fantastic in making sure it happened for us. I’m extremely grateful for them, the look on my sons face when he saw his tornado cake was priceless.”
