Food Lion is a neat and clean store with extremely kind, helpful, courteous, and polite employees. The hot bar offers the best wings for an inexpensive amount, and the bakery provides custom-made cakes. The store is stocked okay and the other foods and offerings are just right. However, it appears to still be in renovation mode with a changed layout that many find to be a terrible idea, leading to longer checkout wait times. Shoppers have also noted a preference for human cashiers over self-checkout machines. Some concerns include a small deli, spoiled produce like cantaloupe and avocados, and occasional order errors like incorrect cake icing.
Staff was really helpful, but we saw a broken red tomato while we were passing by to get some cheese.

I always go here. But im so tired of my bakery bread being moldy literally a day after buying it. Bought some French baguettes yesterday, went to use some today and they had mold on them. Ridiculous

They have an employee called Kimberly which went above and beyond looking for an item for me. It's rare to see such a wonderful service these days. Thank you so much! I can tell this food lion has great employees! God bless!
