From late afternoons to closing the gym is pretty crowded, but no problems before then. If you’re like me and don’t like working out in the morning, the sweet spot is from noon to around 3:30, maybe 4. After that, good luck with getting a squat rack or a turn on the leg extensions. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and I highly recommend taking advantage of the GroupX subscription for classes !

I go to the CRC 6 days a week and am never disappointed. It is always clean and staffed well. Good variety of equipment and it is well kept.

It is a pretty great recreation center for the university. It has just about every you would want from a large gym. The first floor has a good number of cardio machines, and weight machines. There is also a good size area with free weights, lockers to place your items, and a gymnasium with basketball courts. Also at the entrance there is a huge rock climbing wall. Upstairs there is an indoor track, along with an open area to do any kind of exercises that you want to do. There are also two big rooms where one can join an exercise group. I will say this, take your own music with you because the music they play is on a loop and it is possible to hear the same song twice in the same hour.
