“My son and I live over an hour away but we heard this was the place to go to get healthy chicks. We were greeted warmly as soon as we came in but with no pressure by the man behind the counter. The woman who helped assist us picking out our chicks was as kind as could be. They both answered our questions and made suggestions. It's a small but very tidy place. All the chicks are in well maintained enclosures.
We were so happy with our four chicks that we came back up a week later to get a 5th. They opened up a big bag of chick starter just to sell me a smaller portion to get me by before the food I ordered online arrived at my house. When I came back another time I bought a bag of soldier fly larvae for treats for them and oyster shell grit for the future. We'd go all the way up there to get adult chicken feed just to support their business and because they are so nice. Most definitely will go there again and again especially when we ever expand our flock. I like mixing up the flock to have various breeds and they offer such variety it's hard to resist and most importantly I trust these folks.”
