One of the worst Dollar General stores I have been in. Transaction date: 08/23/2025, Time: 3:28PM. Bathroom is absolutely disgusting, the store is a wreck, product just thrown on skyshelves looking like it's about to fall down, endcap signs hanging halfway off, and much more!! We waited in line to long for someone not open their register up to help. She just stood around, looking around, looking at us, looking around some more pike she was lost. There is plenty to be doin in that store besides standing around. Don't know her name because no one was wearing name tags. Bigger girl in black shirt, worthless. Don't want to sound cruel but dang something needs to be done. I am a manager of a DG and the entire state of that store is unacceptable!!! These are the stores that give Dollar General Stores a bad name. 😐 I am proud of my store and the company I work for, y'all should be too!

This place is always a disgusting disaster. Shelves are never stocked, carts and trolleys full of merchandise just sitting in aisles. Merchandise all over floors. Workers are nice enough but give them help or training. Whatever is needed.

Normally I would have only good things to say about the staff, however tonight is not a normal night. I needed a few things grocerywise and some propane for my heater since I had unexpectedly ran out.There was bad weather coming and all of the places where I could get my tanks filled were either out or closed it being sunday. So I grabbed a small tank to exchange. When I got there and asked the clerk if they had any she said she didn't know. I asked if she would check because that was the only heat I had and I was out. She said she didn't think they had any and three times tried to send me off the mountain to another DG store. I thought it rude and just downright unprofessional of her to not even check for me. I have never been treated like that before and to have her not even look at me when she spoke was really irritating. She needs some training ASAP. Now with the bad weather coming in I get to sit without heat.

The store was crowded with merchandise. Why do all DG stores look this way? There were carts and trolleys with merchandise that was waiting to go out on already cluttered and overstocked shelves. I'd shop here more if it was more appealing to me.

Amazing staff and store always clean always friendly and warm and welcoming I'd rather shop here than anywhere to be honest other places just don't have the heart.

Love this store my favorite is in Bakersville NC and here in Watauga Boone nc the prices and selection and deals are amazing and the staff at my 2 favorite stores are all amazing people especially in Bakersville shout out to y'all in Bakersville NC I miss seeing y'all almost everyday ...love Diane West's daughter Cindy ????
