Store only has 1 working register and 2 self checkouts perpetually closed, it's always backed up whenever I go in... The store was just remodeled less than a year ago and it already looks like it needs another one

This DG is always extremely dirty, understocked, disorganized, and dilapidated. The AC hasn't worked in weeks so they run commercial fans and leave the doors wide open asking for a robbery. Might as well take the floor tiles up as the floor is just a layer of dirt. DG has a terrible business model anyway. Normally only 2 people working stores so most new stores look ike Delco in a few months.

I went in Dollar general at Delco yesterday and I got about $50 worth of stuff in the basket walked up to the cash register where there was no one in sight I looked up to see a girl that was supposed to be working the counter outside talking to somebody in a car and smoking a cigarette so I waited a moment and I hit the Bell just in case there was someone in the back and she just continued to talk so I put my basket on the counter and walked out as I was walking past she turns and makes the comment to me (WHAT? WAS THE LINE TOO LONG FOR YOU TO WAIT!!) I stopped turned around but then decided it was best to just say nothing and walk off so I got in my car and all the way home that's all I could think about and I just don't understand how people like that can keep their jobs! I've lived here my entire life and I'm now 38 years old and I thought that my generation had gone downhill with respect and courtesy but it has really gotten worse over the years. AFTER SHOPPING THERE SINCE THEY OPENED I NEVER WANT TO GO BACK!

Not all the employees are doing what they are supposed to do. Instead of being inside fixing the stuff they are always outside smoking or sitting in there car on the phone. Everytime you ask some of the employees questions they get an attitude and act like they dont want to help you and go back to being on there phone.

It was, like, walking in to an episode of "Horders". Stock, that you could tell had been sitting there awhile, littering the aisles to the point of blocking entire aisles, it was like playing Dungens and Dragons, "...which path do I take ??"But I also saw littered across the beyond a bunch of products that I would have bought... if more accessible.Happy hunting!

They are not enforcing the mask mandate at all. Almost every customer going in doesn't have a mask. The employees do not seem to care and are not saying or doing anything about it. A complete lack of respect for others and the law. In addition, the store was a complete disaster it was filthy. On the door the sign is clear. Wear a mask.
