Against my DEI practices I crossed the Boycott line and went to big lots and spent over $100. Went back to return a storage container without the receipt. The manager refused to come to the register and kept telling the cashier what to say. I called again and spoke with another manager who claimed she didn't know who worked yesterday (like I was stupid) Anyway she said the same thing no receipt no returns. Other stores take your Driver's license for items with no receipt! I will continue to keep my black money out of BIG LOTS! They will NEVER see me or mines period! Like it would have cost them what to give me a refund on my card cash or gift card????

I went in to find shorts for my son, but it was so hot and uncomfortable I really couldn't enjoy my shopping experience. The store has recently reopened but this is no excuse for not having a working AC. After beginning to sweat and hearing others complaining about the heat I proceeded to checkout. The cashier was very nice and accommodating, but red-faced and sweaty even with a fan. This is truly unacceptable for the employees as well as the customers you serve. Today it is currently 94 degrees and inching up. Please take care of this matter ASAP

It is OPEN. I have been waiting to see the grand reopening of this store. It is not the same. It feels huge, open space, CLEAN, a different layout, limited furniture, with clothing occupying most of the open floor.

Big Lots was intended to be a discount store, or so I thought… Well, the whole reason they are going out of business is that they over priced themselves. They decide to have a big going out of business sale to lure their last bit of customers and guess what? They are still completely overpriced… good enough and good riddance! ✌️

I just went to the Dunn store to purchase a $600 recliner. There were no visible associates seen in the store except the cashier at the front. I asked Dasia if she could get me some assistance and she radioed for someone to assist. After 10 minutes, I asked her if anyone was coming to assist. She said, “It will be awhile.” I told her it had been awhile and I wanted to purchase a $600 recliner. Again, she said, “It will be awhile. They are unloading a truck.” She did not offer any assistance and did not care that the store was losing a sale. The store was empty except for 5 browsing customers. Very poor customer service and business model. Big Lots of Dunn, get it together or you will lose more customers. If I could give zero stars, I would.
