Our room smelled, coffee was cold and not rapidly replaced, breakfast mediocre. Gym was decent, lobby bathroom toilet seat was filthy. Road work further disrupted this visit Nit easy on, easy off access!

Skip this stop on I95
The rooms were dirty, floors sticky, hair on bedding and towels. Understandably this happens with washing but maybe check the bedding when you are making it? They put our family together with adjoining rooms which was nice and he put us to the back of the hotel to avoid noise from I95 but the train came through 4 times overnight and sounded like it was beside the bed. Of course the hotel can't help this but I mention it as a deterrent as you won't get any sleep. The heat came on numerous times and we woke from the smell thinking the room was on fire. Breakfast was not on time which can be an issue if you have a time schedule to keep. Conversations with other travelers over coffee were all the same. The only positives about the stay were the location and the coffee.

expensive for one night at the port, but super convenient and very comfortable. I stayed there for two different cruises in one year then I decided to try another one on the same strip which was a little cheaper. It was not worth it, I had a horrible sleep in the other hotel. when I cruise again. I will be picking this hotel even though it’s more money. The shuttle service to the ship is well organized.

I enjoyed my stay at Fairfield it was a quiet relaxing hotel. Traveling in later at night was a bit frustrating with the detours that we were not made aware of. When mentioned to the staff they didn’t seem concerned or aware. The location is quiet and off from the flow of traveling. The hotel area is back off the route of normal travel. If you’re on a business trip this is perfect, because you’re there for business. There’s nothing advertised for family fun. I felt the price for a weekend stay was a little pricey.

Here is the deal. This would be a nice hotel for road side travel as it is convenient to 95. The hotel is clean and the 1 staff member at night is extremely nice.
The glaring other is the crime in Dunn. We were woken up to screams from the parking lot during the night. The next morning we found out 17 cars were broken into in the hotel parking lot.
It is not pleasant to wake up for breakfast with 3 cop cars and police investing a large crime scene. Cars with busted out windows and travelers with their plans thrown in to chaos. A few cars had every window busted out.
At least the hotel supplied each guest with a broom and dust bin to sweep up their car windows from the parking lot.
The hotel has one person at the desk at night and they need to hire private security if the city doesn’t have the resources to secure the hotels. The local Dunn hotels have been on notice about the reoccurring crime since at least 2015. A simple sign doesn’t absolve the responsibility of guest safety and property on the hotel property.
My recommendation to those looking for a roadside hotel, skip the Dunn exit and go further down the line. If you do stay, secure your valuables.

Booked this hotel because it has the best rating of any property in Dunn. If this is the best, I'd hate to see the others. Our room had a funky odor - a chemical cleaner scent that barely masked the stench of mildew. Someone stuffed dryer sheets into the AC vent to make the room smell pleasant, I guess? We found another dryer sheet stuffed behind the toilet paper roll. The carpets were in need of a thorough deep cleaning. The dryer in the guest laundry struggled to dry anything. When I went to the desk to report it, they were already aware. Thankfully, they reimbursed me for the money I wasted on their broken dryer, but it would have only taken someone 2 minutes to put an out of order sign on it. The fitness room exists, but that's the only positive about it. I should have stayed in Smithfield or even in Benson.
Rooms: Our room did not smell good
Safety: Roads surrounding the property are rough and the neighborhood seems sketchy. People would stand in the middle of the road day & night. Nearby restaurant property is abandoned. Our vehicle and trailer were never broken into or vandalized, thankfully

We stayed one night when we drove from north to SC. Here is my opinion about this place:
1. The location is great if you are passing by this area on I-95. It's right off the highway.
2. The front desk lady is very nice.
3. The room we were first given had a horrible moldy smell. I am not sure the reason. The forth floor hallway was very hot, I went to the front desk asked for a different room, she put me into a 3rd floor room, which was much better, although still had a bit smell, it was tolerable.
4. The property seemed need renovation. When I was eating breakfast, I saw one of the bench's surface material was all wore out. The breakfast was average as a fairfield Inn. But late in the night there was no hot tea/coffee in the lobby anymore.
Rooms: Has bad smell.
Noteworthy details: Old and need renovation

Rachel at the front desk was absolutely amazing and got us taken care of very quickly! The rooms were nice and the beds were comfy. Right off 95!

When I arrived I learned that I was given another room then what I booked. No price change but I would of liked to have been informed before my arrival. The only two good things I can say was my bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The wifi connection was janky, the ac didn't get cold on my last night and I looked at the filters both very dirty. Frig in the room didn't get cold enough to put anything in it. Also the towels smelled funny and weren't all that clean. Most of the staff at this hotel was not friendly and the breakfast was not the best. So my overall visit was not the best experience I will not be staying here when I come to visit.

Easy to get to right off of 95. I usually pick Fairfield Inn because they advertise no pets and are usually comfortable. While I love animals I don’t want to sleep in the same place with them. There was a smell in the elevator like a dog was there. I did see someone carrying their dog around. Service animals are not usually carried so I doubt it was one. The room had an odor in it but I heard the lady at the desk say that they were booked and I didn’t want to drive around forever trying to find one not booked as it was Memorial weekend. So we stayed and just dealt with it. I thought I’d gotten bit by something maybe a flea. I had to spray myself with bug spray we had from our trip. The bed looked comfortable but it had lumps in it and we couldn’t sleep well because of it. The water pressure and shower was wonderful. The room needed updating definitely as there were marks and stains in the walls. I will not stay here again because it wasn’t comfortable and didn’t feel thoroughly cleaned.

Mid, but a better option for the area.
-They just fluff and dust rather than clean. Crumbs were in a few places in the room from food that was def not mine.
Rooms: They do a fluff and dust rather than actually clean.

Christine (front desk) was so helpful in securing a handicap room from my parents. Truly appreciate her making the process so easy. Place was clean and easy access from I95

People try to getaway from the negativity of everyday life by going to hotels and restaurants. Your hotel played FoxNews constantly in the lobby even during breakfast. I couldn’t careless if your owner is a Republican or a Democrat don’t put the news on. Put cartoons on put the cooking Chanel on put on something neutral so a brawl don’t break out in your lobby which almost did.

First class hotel in the best location. Breakfast and a indoor pool. I highly recommend it.
