“expensive for one night at the port, but super convenient and very comfortable. I stayed there for two different cruises in one year then I decided to try another one on the same strip which was a little cheaper. It was not worth it, I had a horrible sleep in the other hotel. when I cruise again. I will be picking this hotel even though it’s more money. The shuttle service to the ship is well organized.”

“A Home Away From Home for Nearly 8 Years
I’ve been staying at the Hampton Inn in Dunn, NC two nights a week since December 5, 2017—and that alone should speak volumes. For nearly eight years, this place has become more than just a hotel to me—it’s truly a second home.
The staff here is absolutely phenomenal. They’ve treated me like family since day one. Over the years, I’ve seen many team members come and go, but what never changes is the outstanding quality of the people they bring on board. The care, professionalism, and kindness they show are unmatched. Each visit, I’m greeted with warmth, respect, and genuine hospitality.
Consistency in service over such a long period is rare these days, but the Hampton Inn in Dunn continues to exceed expectations. Whether it's housekeeping, front desk, or management—everyone here goes above and beyond.
I simply couldn’t let this go unspoken any longer. This staff deserves recognition for doing a phenomenal job every single day. If you're looking for a place that feels like more than just a place to stay, this is it.”

“The room had a cockroah at the door as we walked in and then I saw about 5 others throughout the night that I smashed, one of which was about to crawl on my partners face as we were laying in the bed. Also the remote didn't work changed batteries and still nothing. And the bathtub was so slick I had to buy shower shoes to shower so I didn't fall down, I suggest putting those stickers gripping things in ur tubs to prevent future falls. But I enjoyed my stay over all bc of whom I was with and bc of the good time I got to spend with said person. So that's y I didn't complain. And 1 last thing the front desk attendant really can't see well and she had a hard time keeping up with what she was doing throughout my checking. It took approximately 30 mins to check in and on top of that I bought 2 sodas pepesi and Mt dew and they were flat as all and tasted old and expired so that was a waste. But like I said I enjoyed the time I got to spend with the person I was with.

Rooms: I was in room 210

Safety: Fairly safe

Walkability: Very walkable

Food and drinks: Don't get pepesi and Mt dew they r old”
