“Stopped after a day of driving. No reservation. I am a points member though. The desk manager was very nice and he found us a room albeit a double bed room , not the suite we like to get when we use the Marriott hotels. But no reservation so I understood that. The good : Beds were comfy , even the pillows. Cleanliness good. Quiet for sleeping. Very nice hotel staff, one and all. The not- so - good: Pool out of service and wasn’t looking real clean at all. Hotel didn’t smell fresh. The elevator and our hallway were seemingly without A/C , they were so humid and warm. ( AC fine in room ). Husband said breakfast wasn’t great at all. Even allowing for knowing it was a pre-fab type hotel breakfast. All in all , it was fine for an overnight stay when you’ve been on the road. But I wouldn’t stay at this particular Fairfield Marriott again. There’s another a little ways down the highway that we’ve used before that was better overall. Wish I could give a 3.7 or something like that , but I could not so I reluctantly went up to a 4 star rating.”

“They are in the process of remodling. However holes in the walls, paint peeling everywhere in the bathroom, sink handles were loose, door sweep was non existent so we could hear everything outside going on, inside, and caused a big draft under the door.”
