I went to return some pants that didn’t fit and the cashier kept on asking questions on why would I return them and made a comment that “you’re not always going to be wearing leggings”, not happy with that she said that she was going to bring some other style of pants. While I understand she was following orders by the manage or trying to help. I felt so uncomfortable and never had such a hard time returning a piece of clothing. I had to go into PERSONAL DETAILS for her to say okay we can give your money back. I felt uncomfortable and what it was supposed to be a quick return turned into a whole uncomfortable situation. 0 starts for these location I never had a problem at other locations.

Went to Southpoint to exchange a pair of jeans I'd bought my daughter at the Crabtree Aeropostale location. The staff at the Crabtree location are always friendly and helpful, and someone is usually stationed right at the door to greet you and ask if you need help right away. In the Durham store, there were 2 young women working, one leaning against the counter, one on the other side of the store, both bent over their phones oblivious to customers. After digging for probably 10 minutes through the jeans trying to find a certain style with neither of them approaching me to see if I needed help, I went to the register. The salesgirl reluctantly looked up from her phone and then proceeded to tell me she was new. She called out to her coworker (whose name she didn't even know) to have her answer my question. I was told they did not make a style of Jean like I was asking about. I told her yes they did because there was a picture and description of them on the sign at the front of the store and (never offering to look around) she just said they must not have them. I chose another pair of jeans and brought them to the register to exchange. The new girl had no idea how to do it, so again she called to her coworker. Second girl was trying to explain to her how to do an exchange when I thought I heard her say something incorrect about the cost of the jeans I was returning so I politely said they were buy one get one free. She literally rolled her eyes and gave me a smarmy smile and told me she knew what I was telling her. Perhaps this store could get some pointers in customer service from the Crabtree location.

We are all entitled to our own opinions, right? Well here's mine: Parking: 4 Location: 5 Decor/ambiance: 4 Customer Service: 1 I absolutely admire the brand! I love their prices. If you catch them on the right sale you can pay as little as $9 for jeans/shorts for men and thats a DEAL if you ask me. This location is perfect. Its located inside of the best malls in RDU. Only thing that holds them back from 5 stars is the horrible employees. I visit often and I'm never greeted #1. #2 the employees can be rather rude. Tonight they were loudly talking about going home and how people needed to hurry up because they were shutting the ship down come 8:50pm (mall closes at 9pm). That was a bit much to hear as you are already in a scramble trying to get items to the counter before close then you hear rambles like this :( Outside of the side, great brand, decent quality gear and amazing prices (sale prices).

Ive been here once and never will come back. Im clearly of african american and caucasian decent. I walked in i was not greeted by the young lady at the door, right after me 2 young caucasian girls walk in "hey ladies welcome in" 3 mins pass and a african american couple walks in and they arent greeted at all. Basically all caucasian people that walked in was greeted by the young lady and all others not. They need a adjustment in training and greeting. Ill never shop or go into that store ever again just because of that.

This Sunday I went to the store and witness a male employee yelling at 2 little girls. He had a reason to be upset but he handle the situation the wrong way. The other cashier and him were talking about the situation inappropriately. They need more training and next time just ask the ADULT to take care of their children. There is enough bad news in this world don't make it worse.
