AMC Southpoint 17 offers a comfortable and clean movie-going experience with a wide selection of showtimes and good sound and picture quality. The theater features spacious rocking seats and luxury recliners in most rooms, making for a mostly enjoyable visit. The venue is handicap accessible and provides quick service at the concessions, adding to convenience. Premium options like IMAX, Dolby Cinema, and Prime at AMC enhance the movie experience, though the IMAX theater has outdated seats that are too close together and share armrests, which some visitors find uncomfortable. A few seats have started to show wear and need repair, and there was an incident with a leaking roof that affected one viewing. Overall, the theater is well-maintained and friendly, but improvements such as renovating the IMAX seats and addressing maintenance issues could elevate the experience further. Despite minor flaws, AMC Southpoint 17 remains a solid spot for enjoying movies.
Very modern movie going experience. I've seen a few movies here and am Left wondering why the seats in the IMAX theater are not as nice as the regular theaters! They are soft but don't recline. You pay more for IMAX but don't get the comfort. Still a nice place to see a movie!

Seats were all old and worn down pretty bad. But still pretty cozy! But everything else was great

It is a nice theatre. Minus one for having the temp at 78.
