This place is really professional. The people that I've dealt with are super nice and helpful. Its very secure with a gate with password. Open till 10 pm every day.

I've had a unit at Ample for about 5 years. The gate always works and I like that my unit is behind a locked gate. The restroom is always clean and accessible. I'm glad there is water on hand if needed for clean ups. The rent goes up little by little. I was happy to learn that my renter's insurance covers the insurance requirement at Ample and gave me a lower initial rate. During business hours there is someone on site if needed. All in all a business I can count on.

I would like to give JR the manager on Hillsborough Road. He has Excellent customer service skills, he listens to your problem and he will suggest an option about my unit. I wish Everyone in this World 🌎 had an outstanding personality like him. KUDOS TO YOU RJ!!

Been a HIGHLY SATISFIED customer for 8 yrs. Their rates are good and have barely increased during that time (unlike other companies). Thank you! Excellent customer service from RJ and Keegan. They are responsive and easy to work with. The facility and property are clean.
I have storage units in 3 states. My experience with Public Storage and U-Hall makes me appreciate Ample Storage even more.
For my Public Storage units in TX and FL, rates are high and they raise my rate every 6 months by 25-30% Inexcusable!! Condition and cleanliness of PS facilities are so-so; customer service ranges from awful to okay. I would never rent from them again.
I will choose Ample Storage for future needs even if I have to drive a little farther.

When it comes to the staff and facilities, they were clean, accessable, and in good condition. They actually had larger unites that I needed. A bonus was that the unit had inside unit lighting and interior power outlets as well. They also had large carts available .... my new place has a parking space for a cart, but no cart. Only complaint/compliment is they had bathroom facilities there as well, but provided no code on how to access them. Fortunately there is a McDonalds near by to use theirs if needed.

Just rented a unit yesterday. Great experience so far! Sam & Kerrie were super nice, very warm and welcoming, and extremely helpful in answering all questions. My unit and the hallways leading to it were extremely clean.

Facility is clean and safe seeming, but “climate control” can be iffy. My unit 197 was exceptionally hot for over a year—noticeably hotter than my 2nd unit 176 in different building. I complained in summer 2021 and nothing was done. In May 2022 I complained for the second time, and was told by Sam that he had checked and that the building was “right at 80.” I knew it was not, so bought my own thermometer, which showed a few days later (early June 2022) that my unit was 95 one day and 97 the next. This time, their new site manager, RJ, who was onsite when I was there, confirmed it was hot (their own thermometer showing 98!) and AC unit in that building was not running! When I called a few days later to see what was being done, I was told that a technician had been called. I asked for compensation for the inadequate conditions in this unit, as we have been customers here since 2016 and have spent thousands of dollars on their facility. But all Sam would offer was to allow us to move ourselves (and our piano!) to a different unit. Oh and they discounted the 1st month of the new unit. If I could move out of Ample altogether, I would, but that would be a lot of trouble and $$. They know they have customers over a barrel, and they DO NOT CARE. Instead of acknowledging that they weren’t offering the service they should have been, Sam even pointed out to me that though they try to keep units between 60-80, there is no temperature range in the lease contract, despite their advertising their “climate control.” Thus he put the onus on me to notice they hadn't promised anything in particular, rather than on them to provide what is implied in the words "climate control." BEWARE.
