The Armstrong Company moved our belongings from storage to our home as part of a military move. We were thoroughly impressed with their timeliness, customer service, efficiency, and friendliness. Each of the movers introduced themselves and made friendly conversation throughout and made sure to check where each item needed to go before it was placed. These guys were great!

Since the time I called Ars Movers for the first time to get a quote , TJ (owner) has been very responsive and helpful . They came on time dismantled furniture and stored all my packed boxes and bags quickly ( we had packed everything into boxes on our own as as it was our preference) . They packed my recliner and other furniture well with blankets and plastic film. I was moving out of state and needed storage for several days which they did without changing me too much which we really needed.Special thanks to Victor and Yerik they reached on my delivery location on time and called 30 mins ahead.They placed all things according to my choice and placed furniture where I needed . Assembled my bed and other furniture. They handled everything professionally and delivered with no problems or damages. Would definitely recommend Ars movers ??

We just had a team from Armstrong unpack us here from an international move from Germany and they were phenomenal! Enrique and his team were the best movers we’ve had and we move a lot. They were careful and very efficient putting things together. They were patient when I needed to peak inside a box because the first movers did not label the box. They truly showed care for our things when unpacking. Thank you for the great job!

We had great communication throughout the process through email and phone conversations. Loading day and unloading day were smooth and organized. The crew worked very hard, on the hottest days of the summer. Everyone was friendly. I highly recommend the company.

I had a great moving experience with the United/Armstrong team. We were doing a large, out of state move, which is always stressful. I have had a few bad moving experiences in the past, but from the moving inventory with Ben to the driver experience with Dallas, I felt completely comfortable during my move with United/Armstrong. They are not the cheapest option, but you get what you pay for in my opinion. I will be using them for my next move!!

One of your employees came into my place of business this morning and started an argument with my employee because she didn’t jump fast enough for him. It was so ugly another customer witnessed it and came over to check on her . He only wanted to use our restroom didn’t purchase anything which is totally acceptable when you’re a decent human being but this gentleman was just ugly and rude for no reason. He then threw our bathroom key in the trash can as he was exiting the building. I’m sure as company you don’t want this type of behavior to represent your name. He was a heavy set guy with a headset on and wearing your company’s logo on a hoodie and driving a company moving truck.

We used Armstrong for moving out of our home, storage , then moving into new home.In both moving instances with two separate moving crews it was expected that we would help them move items. I have never paid for moving and been expected to move items on my own.The floor of the house we moved into was damaged. The manager of the crew who also had his wife as part of the crew said they would return to fix it. They have notThe tagging of items to count is haphazard. They stick on stickers to move out and when moving things in do not check off the items.Overall the company is unprofessionally and not trustworthy. They at least stored out items safely for a short period which is why I gave two stars.

My experience was similar to other reviewers: Ben gave us an amazing sales experience, and that’s where it ended.Ben did two in-person walk-throughs, but the packers arrived entirely unprepared for the size of our pack. I overheard one on the phone with what sounded like her supervisor as she berated our home. The next day, when I brought lunch back for the loading crew, the lead berated me because the restaurant messed up the order and there was no savory option for one of his team members with dietary restrictions. I explained that I’d brought lunch as a kindness (it was $75 worth of sweet and savory baked goods from our favorite local bakery) and had actually asked for an appropriate item even though I was unaware of the restriction, but he continued to lecture me until I agreed to go buy his worker more food. I never even got to eat lunch myself. They also were unprepared for the size of our move and had to go get a second truck. Most everything that went into the second truck was basically tossed onto it not even wrapped. Not surprisingly, almost all of it arrived damaged.The worst part though was probably when Armstrong lost track of all our belongings. I called one day and Beth, our agent, said that this should never happen but somehow all of our belongings had been loaded up and were on a truck being transported to our final destination. This had all happened without her knowledge and far ahead of schedule, so they essentially moved our belongings twice, putting them in a new storage unit in another state.Based on the state of our items when we received them, I can only imagine how they were treated going into that second unit. We had nearly $20K worth of damage at the end of this ordeal. And all of that white glove service ended when we signed and paid.

We used Armstrong Relocation to move from NC to FL this past summer. We set up the contract with local team based on home contents, our needs and their required/must include services. It was a binding contract. On a positive note, the driver and his team were very good - clearly communicated pickup and drop off dates/times, handled our contents with care and were pleasant during the loading/unloading process. The negative note was that one of the "required" services they built into the contract (shuttle/Aux service) was not actually used and this was nearly one-third of the moving contract cost! I reported that the service was not used and was originally told that since it was not used, it would be refunded. But then this was "corrected" and was told it is non-refundable since it was a binding contract. I stated that Armstrong were the ones that required this expensive service but then didn't use it. To me, the optics of the situation looks like I was charged for a service (a very expensive one) that I did not need. I will not use or recommend Armstrong Relocation based on this experience and their business practices.

Herman, Curtis and Marcus packed our home today for an international move. They were a pleasure to be around. Friendly and polite and hard working. I would definitely recommend them.

This was by far one of the worst moving experiences I've ever had due to Armstrong Relocation / United Van Lines. The moving crews were nice but otherwise this experience was a nightmare. I moved from North Carolina to New England on June 24th and was given a delivery date range from July 12-July 18th, with no explanation of how that range is determined. It turned out that my furniture was delivered to a warehouse 35 minutes north past my new apartment, five days after it was picked up in North Carolina, and was going to be held at that warehouse for 3 weeks. I had to call the Durham office and the new local office several times to figure out how to receive my items and luckily was able to get my things on the earlier end of the delivery date, but no one seemed to have a clear idea without me having to be the liaison between two "partner" companies.I was also incorrectly quoted by $1,000 after having sent product descriptions of my furniture to my virtual surveyor / move consultant. These product descriptions included weight and dimensions straight from the retail website. I was quoted and authorized payment for 3 containers, but after the original payment and delivery, I was told that 4 containers were used, increasing the price by $1,000. On top of the extra $1,000 charge, one of my lamps was broken by the moving crew(s) in the process.I find the lack of attention to detail here on Armstrong's end appalling, because if anything that I sent was taken into consideration, a proper quote for 4 containers could have been provided and I would have not used this service. $6,000 for a 1 bed / 1 bathroom apartment is ridiculous to begin with, and $7,000 after poor calculations and gross lack of attention to detail on Armstrong's end is unacceptable.

We hired Armstrong for our recent office relocation. They are very professional and provided excellent service in all stages of the move: including quotation, preparation and execution. Dallas and his team of movers were awesome! The use of bins on dollies rather than boxes really made a difference in terms of ease of the move, and reduction of waste.

Business move was from 1 location to another. Move had to be scheduled about a week out due to a time crunch. Armstrong not only being extremely responsive but accomplished the feat itself without losing 1 day of business.They were on time 8:30am to start with several employees at the old location to not only move the items, but they setup a couple of individuals to take apart furniture & already had 2 people at our new location to setup the furniture.This was as seamless easy transition as possible.A lot of credit has to be given to the team leads Joe & Dada as their organization skills was top notch without a single hiccup. A lot of credit also has to go out to Christopher Elder as before, during & after his communication skills & ensuring satisfaction was of the utmost priority.I would STRONGLY recommending this company for any & all moves large or small.

We just finished our move and nothing but positive things to say all around! Arrived on time, helped with the final wrapping and disassembly and loaded up the truck! Move in went just as smooth ! Highly recommend!
