Azteca Grill is sooo good. I ordered the Enchiladas Verde (It's my comfort food dish after decades living in Texas). They were totally delicious. Often when I order this dish here in North Carolina, the chicken is chewy and the salsa verde isn't quite right. The chicken in my enchiladas tonight was perfectly tender, and the salsa was exactly as it should be - tangy tomatillo with just the right amount of heat. I had a nice conversation with one of the guys that works there. He told me that the restaurant is totally family-run. His aunt was cooking that night, but his dad, mom, and grandfather also prepare food. I could tell he was really proud of Azteca. They're doing an amazing job, start to finish, including their 99.5 health rating.

This place is quite far for my wife and I, but we were on our way and decided to go in. The entrance to the place is a little strange, there is an entrance within another entrance and let's say that the decoration of the place is not the best. But at the end of the day what you're going to do is eat, right?The food is very delicious, the service was very good and we also had very good company, so we had a great time.The quesabirria was delicious and to our surprise, not at all greasy!!!The fresh waters were also delicious, anyway, the truth is that if we were nearby I would gladly return

Food was OUTSTANDING!!!! I'm sure it's the absolute best Mexican food I've ever had!! Extremely authentic and delicious food. The service was phenomenal and definitely making this a go to place! So glad we stopped in.

They make the tortillas in house !! And there’s a salsa bar. Very delicious, great service, great atmosphere and great drinks. My favorite mexican restaurant in Durham.

I'm attending a private event here but we're getting their food and their drinks. The food is great, the drinks terrific and the service outstanding. Family run and well managed. Highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

Outstanding carnitas and Pico de Gallo bar. If you want Mexican food hot or mild you get to choose. Friendly staff and authentic Mexican food. No cheddar cheese here. Quaint atmosphere. Bright and comfortable. Street tacos and enchiladas available. Full bar too. You won't be disappointed. No chips and salsa when you are seated, but that's a Tex Mex thing anyway. Well worth the search. Lots of parking spaces.

We ordered chicken and cheese quesadillas and an assortment of gorditas (steak, carnitas, beef). They delivered to the brewery next door where we were. The food was hot and had great flavor. I would recommend if you are in the area! Great service!
